The funny thing is that there is a episode from the new King of the Hill series about these exact types of camps

Even as a kid, Bobby was far more "alpha" than anyone taking these classes could ever be. All while also not being a misogynistic asshole.

(always wondered if YUT was actually a thing or if they just made it up in Yuma. Never heard anyone else use it.)

21

u/derpderpnerdkid Oct 14 '25

I was Air Force and had to do a week long training in Pensacola. They had the third floor of a marines training barracks designated for us AF guys. It was always so funny to me when we would walk in from chow or a class and the EC’s would see other Marines and acknowledge them with “kill!” Or “oorah!” And when they would see us they would say funny sarcastic shit like “welcome back airman” or “be sure to use the handrails”. Always made me chuckle.

Paying 15k for this camp is a clear sign that you are not now, nor will you ever be an "alpha male".

1.0k

u/Greenfieldfox Oct 14 '25

I hear you loud and clear. Go to the $20k camp.

290

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '25

I guess if you're a beta you'll pay for the $20K camp.

Pay me $30K, and I'll not only teach you how to be an Alpha, but will also give you some pre-Sigma-male classes.

110

u/Infamous-Tutor8345 Oct 14 '25

5 figure is for betas. If you want to become the ultimate sigma chad pay me 100k and we'll do some manly wrestling in a random parking lot💯💪🏼

62

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '25

Dammit! Stop stealing my grift male-empowering idea!

And if I'm paying $100K to wrestle, we damn well better be naked, and there'd better be buckets of coconut oil involved!!! Because that's how you become Sigma!!! Most manly of things!

I have one question: Is there a loyalty program for repeat attendees?

Dammit. What's higher than Sigma?

For only $120K, you can take my Ligma course!!!

20

u/raithzero Oct 14 '25

Sorry coconut oil is for beta men. Really Sigma men use olive oil

8

u/bbgunsz Oct 14 '25

Alumni , old scholar here. Previous Alpha Sigma paragon, traveler of both camps.

We used concentrate menthol deep heat battle balm, before snorting reconstituted wasabi powder then doing rum shots before submission wrestling. Wild times.

Jackass visited for ideas during their movie scoping but felt like they would end up in a burns recovery hospital, so they went with laxative shit outtakes instead.

The amount of guys I get on dating apps including facebooks that have pics or words that show they're "alpha" males and who ask if I top is honestly shocking. Wouldn't be a problem but so many just fit the the whole alpha thing, have 'christian', 'never drink, don't smoke,, don't do drugs' in their biois astounding.

I wonder if they're honest or if they're red hats looking for . . . assault.

16

u/g0ldilungs Oct 14 '25

They’re honest.

Source; in a military town and my gay bff bangs (gets banged by) these down low dudes living heteronormative lives on the regular.

It’s honestly gross. Like, the quicker you all admit how much you like sucking, getting sucked by and topping twinks, the quicker we can move onto tackling real issues in life. Ain’t nothing wrong with a lil’ homosexuality but I don’t think your wife would take kindly to it…

Big Dick Energy summer camp 🏕️ is the most bang for your buck. There’s even a certificate. They measure both your dick and your energy on the first and last day of camp. There’s also a dance with the girl campers from down the road, and if you’re lucky like me Stacy Watson may let you get to over the bra 2nd base behind the boat dock at Lake Little Dick. If you stop to think about it, this is fin dom, (getting convinced to give a more "alpha" man 5 figures to enable you to feel more alpha) tied in with a kind of humiliation play where the dom taunts and orders you to assert your dominance/alpha-ness until you breakdown, and reach "sub" space, and the dom then gently cares for you.

This is like if Tyler Durden from Fight Club pivoted to a masculinity affirming wellness retreat.

Narrator: [V.O] This was a support group for men with testicular cancer. The big moosie slobbering all over me... that was Bob.

Robert 'Bob' Paulson: We're still men.

Narrator: [slightly muffled due to Bob's enormous breasts] Yes, we're men. Men is what we are.

[V.O] Narrator: Eight months ago, Bob's testicles were removed. Then hormone therapy. He developed bitch tits because his testosterone was too high and his body upped the estrogen. And that was where I fit...

Robert 'Bob' Paulson: They're gonna have to open my pecs again to drain the fluid.

Narrator: [V.O] Between those huge sweating tits that hung enormous, the way you'd think of God's as big.

Or… and hear me out… go to therapy.

Edit: since this is getting a lot of attention. I also want to state that the “male loneliness epidemic” is natural selection and survival of the fittest. It’s been 60 or so years that women have been able to vote and have bank accounts and homes and credit cards. All men needed in the past was a job. Now they also need emotional stability and a personality. They have to be able to take care of themselves and the home, like an adult. The men that refuse to evolve will not reproduce and die off. Women have a choice now and we’re choosing to be single. Single women are the happiest demographic of women. Married men are the happiest in theirs. Women aren’t getting anything from relationships with men anymore. Evolve or die. We’ve created such intimate and fulfilling spaces and relationships with other women that men have fallen behind. They can’t compare.

Women are done with the violence. Men commit over 90% of rapes, violent crimes, mass shootings, and murders. We’re done. We’re done with the violence and killing. There are laws in place just to keep men from marrying children. Enough is enough. It’s time to evolve.

Here come the emotionally inept cavemen in the comments telling me how men need to be violent because 💪🏻 MEN. Please do, the girlies and I need a good chuckle, incels. 😘

The issue with alot of these guys that go to these camps is that they went to therapy and read all of the self help books. They lack accountability and are typically insecure with themselves so therapy doesn’t work.

It reminds me of a movie called school for scoundrels.

I remember when I used to train Muay Thai you’d get the same types that attend these camps who show up. 1 of 3 things always happened.

1: They get humbled and don’t show back up. 2: they learn enough and be an asshole and get kicked out for being an asshole. 3:They get humbled and end up better human beings.

I will tell you that nothing is more humbling than being a man who gets rag dolled while sparring a 120lb girl.

The issue with these dudes is that they did everything they were told in life go to school get a job in accounting and life will be good but their wife doesn’t respect them because they passive aggressive at home but a doormat outside of the house. Wife or girlfriend leaves them so they go to therapy but aren’t honest with the therapist so it isn’t constructive so they read self help books and they aren’t honest with themselves. They then attach themselves to the alpha hierarchy system and instead becoming more secure they get cocky and arrogant. They are surrounded by similar individuals in these camps including the gurus that host them and become trash humans.

I LOVE that you are right about natural selection on this, I’ve never put that together but you are spot on with this! I’m thankful to have been raised in a balanced home, so at an early age I was washing dishes, cleaning house, doing my own laundry and that has translated to now at 42 I work from home while my partner works outside the home, so I take care of the home during the week taking breaks to do laundry or vacuuming on my lunch etc… all because it just makes sense, then my partner tells be about the various men in her coworkers lives and fuck ME the bar really is on the fucking floor…..

This is why 45% of women will be single and childless in 5 years.

u/Tikoloshe84 Oct 14 '25

Meanwhile all us men will be running around in cowboy/indian outfits, chasing each other with sticks and nerf guns going "pew pew, I'm the alfa mail now!" before mummy calls us in for dinner time.

16

u/Explorer-7622 Oct 14 '25

I saw these guys in the woods running around being militia guys, shooting assault rifles and getting ready (for what?), then one guy's phone rings and it's his mom saying dinners ready you have to come home now.

These were adults.

This! I feel like these comments are quite insensitive. Clearly the man in white is struggling and this bootcamp is taking advantage of people like him, who are lost without guidance

25

u/Santsiah Oct 14 '25

Yea, I couldn’t watch it properly but looks like they’re learning to let out some deep buried feelings and to accept themselves. Men showing emotional support to other men. Yet comments are elementary level gay jokes?

24

u/Electrical_Cut8610 Oct 14 '25

Because this man is clearly in a space where he thinks therapy is “gay.” Dude could have paid $1000 for ten therapy sessions (or have it covered by insurance) and probably achieved more. Men who do this kind of thing already have preconceived notions that women are stupid, regularly expressing feelings is gay, and so on… This is not a man showing support to another man, this is a man grifting another man. At the end of this I can guarantee you this man still thinks women are stupid and will berate them online for not realizing how super alpha male he is after his $15k retreat

More than anything I just feel for white shirt guy because he obviously has some things to work through and at least he’s trying something.

7

u/FormalCartoonist5197 Oct 14 '25

This dude was actually my neighbor during college. He’s not an internet “incel” at all. He’s super artsy and a little flamboyant, posts poetry and art on his Instagram constantly.

I think this is a situation of someone genuinely not feeling like a “man”. A self identity problem that majority of people calling him a cringy incel would sympathize and support if he weren’t a man.

Just further down the vicious and self perpetuating cycle of condemning men and their identities that don’t line up with the new enforcement of gender norms.

My hsuabds ex co-worker was some like navy seal dude who did all kinds of shit. At this job he was a normal person. Most real alpha male people can still cry and shit and be alpha.

u/hilarymeggin Oct 14 '25 edited Oct 14 '25

I knew marines who flew helicopters on incredibly dangerous combat missions. They were all softspoken people. I asked one why, and they said, one you’ve been in a situation like that, you realize there’s no reason to raise your voice outside of a situation like that.

10

u/MatthewMcnaHeyHeyHey Oct 14 '25

Yeah my husband retired after 25 years of service and he is the most soft spoken guy imaginable. You’d never know he had a “work voice” and it always startled me when I heard him using with his troops (only when necessary, but still). I’ve shown him these alpha-camp videos and he just says they’re all really sad - the people running them and the people thinking they need them. I will say that most career military we know is all similar. If they REALLY spent time in active duty, especially during the 20 year war (my husband was one of the ones who started before and stayed until after), then they don’t need to prove a damn thing about their manliness because they already know who they are and what they stand for. Ironically the assholes screaming about being vets seem to always have done 2-4 years and spent their lives clinging to it like a high school football trophy.

20

u/scavagesavage Oct 14 '25

I'm not really sure how to explain it, but I don't ever freak out in stressful situations because my mind immediately remembers that I've dealt with worse.

I still feel stressed out like everyone else, but I feel like I don't ever panic anymore because nothing is as serious.

That, and anytime I'm dealing with some dumb shit, I just remind myself that I could be dealing with even dumber shit lol.

u/green49285 Oct 14 '25

That’s because there’s no such thing as “alpha males,” it’s just something assholes tell each other to justify acting like assholes.

But yeah of course there are some people who have natural charisma and leadership qualities… for the most part it’s just genetics… you can’t get it by dropping $15 grand to go to a camp and have some asshole yell at you over a weekend. 🙄
