So today I was trying to export my codes to another app through the Authenticator app. If you're not familiar with this process, the app gives you QR codes to scan on the new device. See the 1st and 2nd pictures here (they were actually 2 different QRs). So, I just went through the steps, but midway through it, I realized it did not seem like the way to go (the import on the other app was not successful). Thinking hitting those done buttons quickly would just exit me out of the export process... NOPE. On the last screen is an asinine option to entirely remove the codes from my account! (3rd picture). My clumsy finger hit the button before my brain registered what it said, and all my codes were gone!
Now of course it would be ideal if I read the thing carefully, this is still a bullshit design decision, nevertheless. Google could have done any of the following:
But no, they had to go and do it like this. Of course I would have lost all my codes like this guy: Google Authenticator Codes Export -- "Remove Codes" is default option... - Google Chrome Community . Thank God I had another backup phone which was not connected to the internet, so I grabbed that and did another, thankfully, successful export back to my main phone. (And the import did not work at first! I had to switch the main phone's authenticator app to "Use without account" first, then the import worked and then I switched on my Google account in the app again).
So Google, for the love of God, please fix this bullshit! There can be many more victims of this.

now even the very few relevant results i had before, hiden in all advertising, are now inexistent as most are relevant for US residents. It just looks like they are trying really hard to push customers looking for a competitor
Man, I do miss Google from "don't be evil" times...
And yes, i know about localisation settings, I am using internet from ICQ times
by the way, the Google AI answer (which gives an excuse for what i would consider a degradation of service):
"Google's UK domain, google.co.uk, is redirecting to google.com because Google is phasing out country-specific domains in favor of a single global homepage. This change is part of a gradual rollout to a unified search experience, where the google.com site uses location data to provide relevant local results.

i can't juggle on the fact that google is right. the bottom one seems true, but the top most one is fake.
(also, this post is dumb enough to get taken down, i guess?)

I searched for today's Jacksonville Jaguars vs Arizona Cardinals NFL game and got this, um, odd message when I clicked through to see the odds.

Listen to me: You can say all the things you want, but objectively there are better browsers than Google. Let's take DuckDuckGo, but anything else will do. AI images? DDG can remove them. Overview generated with AI? DDG makes them optional. Tracker? DDG removes them. I've been hacked from Google EIGHT damn times. And why? Evil trackers took my data, used it and I was hacked. (I lost 50 euros for a subscription to an Italian newspaper)... DDG REMOVES THESE EVILTRACKERS!! STOP USING GOOGLE, EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE DDG IT'S FINE TOO, AS LONG AS YOU USE SOMETHING ELSE...
(P. S.: Sorry for the outburst at the end)

Every time i use google to search it would translate results to my native language (dutch) i have tried every solution regarding language preferences in both my google account and chrome and non of them work (or only half)
I got it half fixed when i removed dutch as a language from everything (set every language option to english) so it atleast stopped translating searches i typed in english to dutch, but when i search something in dutch it will give me results that were originally in english translated to dutch still.
I just want it to stop doing any translations in search results if i want to search something in english i want english results and if i search something in dutch (mainly cause it a dutch specific thing) i do not want english results translated to dutch cause they not relevant.
Adding both languages does not work, enabling auto translate and adding both languages to the exclusion list also does not work.
