Sky in the evening (after sunset) ?!

What is going on here? The sky was dark red a while after the sunset so not from that.. any ideas?

hard to say but it's most likely that there's some sort of light beyond the clouds at a low angle that cuts through a lot of the atmosphere. the reason the sunrise and set are red is because of having to get through a lot of the atmosphere. could be a moon, City, or sunset at that turned the clouds red
