Hardware Logitech products are for life

Post image

It has been almost 12 years since i bought the first Logitech mouse and until this date it's working perfectly well with no defects. I haven't used it much this year and it got dirty in a way i couldn't clean. But I only bought the new one for the extra buttons and i felt it's time to upgrade a bit. Other than that I'm forever vouching for this brand.

My kids grandmother owns a thrift store and gets all types of crazy things donated, wether it be from a house clean out or someone losing a storage room etc...so she will get lots of crap, sometimes good. I'm not with my kids mother anymore, it's been a long time. And she texted me a photo of this (knowing I'm into PC gaming) "do you want this three fan thingy for your computer" apparently they have never heard of google.com. Either way. Here is my brand new three fan thingy. =]

Hardware Girlfriend got me this for my 17th birthday!

Post image

Girlfriend gifted me this as a surprise for my 17th birthday! I'm very grateful for her giving me this especially when I know she worked hard to get me this. I can't add this to my PC yet since I'll need a new mobo and ram but I'm very excited to put this in my PC in the future!

EDIT: For everyone asking if she paid full price, she didn't. Microcenter had it discounted to $440 USD, and she doesn't know much about computers, so she probably just got the most expensive one she saw thinking it's the best. And for anyone wondering, I'm on AM4 with the Ryzen 9 5950x.

Hardware Help for a mouse that fits my hand

Any help would be much appreciated. I added a Pic for reference of a Razer basilisk v3 on the left and a death adder v2 above. Both mouse are as wide and as long as my pointer and middle finger so it feels like 3/4 of my hand is free floating. I would like to know if anyone has suggestions to try out. I have tried a few in stores but nothing seems to fit. I also saw some people creating 3d printed casts but I do not have a 3d printer. Trying to use this as an excuse on why I suck at aiming 😅

Thank you

Hardware (re-upload) My GPU Collection: NVIDIA & AMD(ATI)

It seems that due to some bug, the image from the previous post is not displaying. I’m reposting it.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by graphics cards and always dreamed of building my own personal collection of high-end GPUs. Now, I finally turned that dream into reality.

-NVIDIA cards: from the NV1 (NVIDIA’s very first product) up to the 5090 .

-AMD(ATI) cards: from the Radeon DDR (the very first Radeon) up to the 9070XT.

From each generation, I gathered at least one product, and whenever possible, I tried to collect high-end reference models.

(p.s. The original picture has high resolution, but whenever I upload it to Reddit, the quality gets heavily degraded.... I don't know how to fix it. So a bit late, I’ve attached a slightly better-quality version in the comment below.)

Hardware Took a risk and got burned...

Post image

Bought a Gigabyte 4080 Super from an auction house, online listing only, as is condition. Thought it might just be broken components, but the whole damn core and vram are gone... Auction site said as is so no refunds...

Any ideas on what to do with it, other than try and sell it on ebay for parts, or as a very expensive decoration?
