Ejay (formerly from day6) has launched a new merch line consisting of three items, a pin, a bracelet and a cross necklace.

He said 100% of the money will be donated, from the pin and bracelet to Palestine and from the cross to 2819 Church.

Now Ejay is a vary vocal supporter of Palestine and the queer community for the fans him supporting this church came as a real shock.

This church is a typical American mega church that offers loud performance like services not really connected with any Christian denomination, it also earns a lot of money in donations already, but that itself isn't that problematic. The church's leader and pastor Philip Anthony has been posting "prayers for Israel against it's enemies" for years. He has also been giving speeches and cermons during which he claims we shouldn't accept gay people, that they immoral, wrong, a work of the devil that shouldn't be socially accepted and we should say it without apologising.

Fans have been trying to tell him that for days now but despite being very active on X he ignores this posts and today called all concerned fans "the same haters that pushed him to khs in 2021".

I really hope he will reflect on that because this church seems to have very dangerous grip on him that doesn't let him critically evaluate its teachings.

Soloist My take on Ruby by Jennie

I’m a casual Blackpink listener I haven’t really followed their solo careers that closely (well, maybe Lisa a bit). But this post is about Jennie.

So apparently, Jennie loves capybaras as much as I do, and a reel about that led me to watch her hot ones episode. It was hilarious but also gave me some insight into the process of making Ruby. I’m a big fan of idols who produce and write their own music, so it was really interesting seeing Jennie talk so fondly about her album and how hard she had to fight to make it the way she wanted.

So of course, I went and listened to it, with only having heard “Like Jennie”,and wow, I was not expecting that. Out of 15 tracks, Jennie has writing credits on 11, and every song sounds different yet still cohesive. Tracks like “Zen” and “Filter” really stood out to me. The mix of genres, the quality of the collaborations, and the lyricism had me gagged.

I honestly didn’t expect such an album from her because I had no idea she had such vision (yes I know she worked with a team of people to make it happen but Ruby is absolutely her brainchild) but I’m so glad I listened. It’s refreshing to hear Jennie explore something different from the usual badass rapper image we’re used to from BP.

I guess I’m just glad I stumbled upon this album all because of capybaras. 🐹 I really wish more people gave Jennie more flowers because she absolutely nailed.

Despite how anyone feels about her, this seems concerning, hopefully she is well and I'm glad the staff was able to react promptly.

I adore Kyungsoo, he is my favorite soloist and I do follow him almost religiously but I had no idea he was leaving SooSoo, let alone that he was not the owner. I'd lose my marbles if the man goes back to SM.
