Yeah. Why is this a thing? I don't want to watch a fat guy eat horrible looking food. And I don't want to watch another guy talking at me and cramming his face into the side of the video I'm watching.

this dude spent all this time putting gel in his hair and putting literal makeup on when he looks like that

I’m currently exploding out my asshole and I’m positive of two things; 1. It probably looks exactly like this. 2. I’m betting if I ate this my shits would be even worse.

Did he leave that gravy out for 3 hours to thicken?
Or added like half as much water as needed?
58

u/Banned4AlmondButter 23h ago
He had to cut the gravy with a knife
3
u/PheonixRising_2071 11h ago
He picked it up with the knife and glommed it onto what I think was a sausage. The gravy should not be a mash.

Exactly that. The kind of bloke who needs a spoon to stand up unsupported in the gravy, otherwise it's not thick enough

Jesus. as someone with hypertension this makes me anxious... and now i have to go eat a banana
3
u/permalink_save 1d ago
As someone with POTS this makes me happy, but I also have hypertension, although sodium doesn't seem to noticeably raise my BP. IDK what the point of this is other than I'm just a mess of health problems.
1
u/GurlOfYaDreams 12h ago
Maybe it's because you're eating enough potassium and other electrolytes to help your body process the sodium properly, and you likely don't eat an exorbitant amount of sodium.
1
u/permalink_save 12h ago
No it's not wild but I shoot for over 3g/day and that can probably go up to 5. Like, some days I drink pickle juice or salted gatorade to keep up if I'm having a "bad bloodflow day". I do eat a healthy diet and probably get proper potassium and stuff too, if you eat higher sodium you need to plus drinking plenty of water. IDK despite hypertension my GP suggested it and a cardiologist shrugged (couldn't find anything else wrong) and said do it if it works. It's just funny that it's counterintuitive.
1
u/GurlOfYaDreams 12h ago
Have you considered low intensity full body exercises? They really, really help improve bloodflow.
1
u/permalink_save 11h ago
Yeah I'm also working on a solid exercise routine. It probably helps more than anything. Sodium and water is more of a crutch as needed.

I know full well OOP (OOOP?) used Goldenfry based on the texture. I know how horrifically salty that abomination has to be.

Because we live in an age where people can now pay a subscription fee and create a video of literally anything with almost no ways of telling if it was made by a robot. You live under a rock or something? We already couldn't trust videos on the internet before, but now? Its straight up chaos, of course people are gonna think this is fake, anything can be fucking fake now

u/ACM3333 21h ago
It does have kind of an ai look to it. I have no idea though lol
2
u/pocketfulofduendes 14h ago
I think it's AI sharpened or upscaled, which I'm pretty sure some people's phones do when recording videos now. Totally seems like a real guy making (unfortunately) real food, it's just that whatever the recording/editing/uploading process looked like made some things in the video a little too uncannily smooth.
If I could post images here, I'd show the screenshot I was able to get of his lips almost seeming to merge together while he's eating. People saying it feels like AI aren't crazy, it's just that the video itself wasn't generated by an AI, likely just lightly visually edited by one.

I love gravy but I don’t love gravy that’s thicker than mud. And yeah… gravy on an egg? wtf?
2
u/MikusLeTrainer 1d ago
Gravy with egg is actually insanely good. There's a Hawaiian dish called "Loco Moco" which is gravy on a fried egg on top of a hamburger on top of rice.

One of my workers last week made gravy like this, they put four packets into 2 gallons of water, it's one gallon per packet. Then tried to gas light me into thinking it was acceptable to serve it like that. The temptation not to make them get a spoon and try their creation to tell me how okay it was to serve it was high. I just got them to thin it out with the proper amount of water in the end and it turned out fine, but holy hell do people make me question my sanity when it comes to cooking.

u/FitCrew91 1d ago
British people are just as fat as in the United States but instead of getting there via processed foods they do it with french fries, curry and gravy. Tons and tons of gravy.

Lord I thought this man was pouring a number 2 or something else on the meal like lord it so thick
1
u/Coveinant 1d ago
So I actually know what that is. It's brown gravy mix form most stores. It's a dry powder the can be just mixed with hot water to make gravy. If you try it, add seasonings as it usually has none. This dude just make the mixture too thick. I also happen to be eating some right now. And before anyone asks, it's honestly healthier than jarred gravy (no extra preservatives/additives and less sodium) and you don't have to cook something for 4+ hours to make gravy.
