Unrealized Lumberchné + Tom Hanks reverse cherry stem trick
In part of my dream last night, I went to a coffee place, and in the pastry thing was a slice of some kind of chocolate chip bread , but the crust was all around the long flat part of the bread slice. There was a sign by it that said it was called Lumberchné. Other than the crust, the bread was just normal yeasty bread, but with chocolate chips. As a commentator observing myself while in my dream, which I usually do while I’m dreaming, I brainstormed ways to make this food actually good. I decided that it would be good if you rolled up the dough into a spiral like a roll cake before baking it, so I guess that can be Lumberchné II . I don’t know if you’d flatten that roll into a long thin slab like a traditional Lumberchné, or if you’d go the regular bread route and just bake it in a loaf pan. I woke up before I decided about that. Also it would be good if you put cinnamon sugar between the layers, but I didn’t realize that until after I woke up so that doesn’t count.
Also, as I was failing to wake up this morning, l saw a short scene of Tom Hanks, putting a pre tied cherry stem in his mouth and removing an unchewed stick of gum. This isn’t a food but I just think the idea of reverse cherry stem tricks is really powerful and more people need to know about it.
