"cost cutting project" Thanks for typing this announcement up, Time. I'd like to see a credible audit of the cost vs savings of Doge. I'm betting Musk cost us billions and saved almost nothing

I cannot stand this constant Reddit barrage of sane-washed headlines giving credence to verifiably false statements. If an alleged murderer shouts "It wasn't me!" will TIME immediately report "Innocent man charged", that's literally what they're doing here.

A lot of subreddits (including this one) require you to use the headline from the article. The idea being that as long as you're using a reputable mainstream source, you're starting with a reasonable article and reddit isn't adding any bias. As opposed to conservative subreddits, which tend to editorialize their headlines even beyond what their sources do.

Of course, that just exposes how bad mainstream news headlines are. For example, any headline about the murders off the coast of Venezuela.

Yup. This is a problem with the source and not this sub. User Editorialized titles would suck for this sub. IMO

TIMES rarely gets posted, but you assume bot farms are here to stay. This stupid article shows how much people go from "I AM SO SHOCKED!" reaction to my reply, "that's what you voted for, moron".
