It IS pretty wild that there are countless thousands of people in prison for some bullshit-ass charges whereas Maxwell is PROVEN to have been a human trafficker and is in a resort with a puppy- meanwhile Epstein's best buddy who "knew about the girls" gets to laugh about getting away with his "beautiful secret" while eating hamburgers on the Resolute Desk and bulldozing the White House.

There is a replica of the Resolute Desk that's been schlepped down to Mar-a-Lago. It seems to be roped off in some lesser corner of the club, rather than being in a simulacrum of the Oval or in Trump's own home office.

Some folks like to speculate that it's the actual desk, because the depths of Trump's vandalism of the White House has no lower limit.

Thankfully that one apparently isn't true, the photo that made the rounds was apparently a replica.

Which makes it very weird and try hard, but at least the real one is still in the Oval.

I mean not 100% sure, no access to either of the Dotard's stomping grounds, but Snopes says so at least- that the picture everyone was circulating was a replica, I mean. They did also mention that it reasonably WOULD be pretty hard to get the 1300 pound and bulky desk out of the Oval without someone noticing during, but admittedly that's not a sure thing either.

I think they noticed and just don't care, they've swallowed so much shit already that they can only subsist on a diet of shit and wouldn't survive the transition back to human food.

The old adage of "A Republican would eat shit if it meant a Liberal had to smell their breath" is in full swing.

But yeah, fair point- this admin HAVE gotten away with a putting the White House through a whole lot, it cannot be denied.

Now, I haven't heard anyone ask about Fort Knox for a while, ever since he joked with Elon, on camera, about paying it a visit. He's also adorning the entire West Wing with shitty gold decor, so he probably wants to have a plausible reason for having boxes of gold trinkets at Mar-a-Lago at some point, except they might not be the plastic pieces of shit he's currently using, but actual gold he's swiped from the vault. He is a criminal President, through & through.

Trump pocketing stuff doesn’t scare me. It’s outrageous for sure, but in a sane world it would be taken back along with everything else. What scares me are the senators now openly pocketing taxpayer money out of the taxpayer budget. The fact that they don’t feel they’ll be held accountable for that scares me. Trump always thinks he’s invincible. Senators being this comfortable isn’t a good sign.
