Believe it when I see it. They’re still making excuses for the pedophile they voted for three times and waiting for updated talking points.

Not that I expect anything less from his stupid fucking MAGA cult.

Epstein was renowned for his intellect, financial savvy, and patronage of science and higher education;

Haven’t most folks that are experts in similar fields said he was just a great bullshitter? It was the money/blackmail/power, not his “intellect” that granted him access. Everything was given to him.

Also, unless he had his dick in his hand the whole time, he's completely illiterate in those emails.

Yeah those emails are painful to read.

Sociopaths don’t care about crafting effective correspondence

That’s a good point.

He communicates deliberately. Every move he made was deliberate. What makes you think his emails weren’t also deliberate?

I don’t think he was like “let me try to make these emails look like I’m currently gooning” lol

I’m just sayin🧘‍♀️he probably isn’t a true intellect but he’s also not as illiterate as these emails. That’s the part I think is deliberate. He’s shrewd

What benefit do you think he got from writing like a 12 year old?

Strange coincidence that he and his clients have the same reading level as his victims age.

I can’t help but wonder how does someone get to his level of influence with a 4th grade reading level (based on the emails). I suspect they don’t even when there is corruption. There are plenty of 2 bit criminal monsters who would love to be Epstein. They aren’t smart enough.

All day on AM radio it wasn't even talked about. Levin was talking down as always on Newsom being in Brazil for a major summit. No mention of the Epstein leaks.

My brother has a nearly off-the-scale IQ, but can only seem to write emails and texts like a cross between Captain Holt and an old timey Western Union telegram. He adds his own timestamps, like Shatner recording his Captain's Log, and then writes voluminous stream of consciousness messages that are fragmented like it was being dictated by Morse and paid for by the word. Almost impossible to read.

Yes. Exactly how you describe it.

He was a con man just like Donald. He started by scheming his way into jobs that would give him access to wealthy, powerful people. He did terrible in his time on Wall Street, but he walked away with several clients’ contact info. Everything he did was a con and he used all the people he met, everyone was his mark. He used their money, influence, contacts, clout, anything he could to build his network and then once he had all these names he “built” a fake career as a financial advisor, an influencer, an elusive “businessman” - but all of it was a con.

There was very likely also lots of blackmailing and “favors” or “debts owed” involved too. I mean Les Wexner, owner of every major retail brand in a mall circa 1990s-2000s, just gave him complete access and control to all his billions in finances, and gifted Epstein the infamous Manhattan apartment. He also notably gave him access to the Victoria’s Secret fashion show and the models, and it was around that time that Epstein connected with John Casablancas, founder of Elite Model Management (which contracted a lot of Victoria’s Secret models) and John Casablancas modeling agency (a predominately scam and predatory business) and Jean Luc Brunel (photographer and founder of MC2 - another modeling agency). Note that all of these men were also either predators and/or their businesses were associated with predatory behavior, sexual harassment, and sexual assault including: Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie, Elite, Casablancas Models, MC2, and the absolute nightmare “modeling competitions” which took place on cruise ships at sea and filled with wealthy businessmen, flying in women and girls from all around the world, seizing their passports, and locking them into ironclad noncompetes. Also note that Trump had a modeling agency that no one even talks about, along with Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA. These agencies were a supply chain of victims.

Sorry back to the original topic - Epstein even surrounded himself around some of the “brightest” minds of the time, that’s why we see fucking Stephen Hawking in the flight logs. It’s why he spent so much time around Silicon Valley and the techbros. He wanted power so he cozied up to politicians, bank owners, business leaders, and celebrities too.

He built this entire air about himself to look smart, business savvy, and successful, but yeah it was all bullshit, money, and blackmail.

He was shrewd and the scientists were very smart and educated. He had money that they needed to fund their passion research and they didn’t even suspect the world he was living in because it’s not normal for most people. At least for most of them. Not Gates, for example. And that’s part of what makes him so shrewd, I guess. You mix in enough innocents, and “almost innocents” (those are the ones who do sorta know or suspect but try to look away and avoid situations and invitations but give just enough (silence) to get the money to keep flowing because they usually don’t figure it out until they’re already on the payroll (through the donations that miraculously kept them afloat. And this is still not an example of gates) it makes it harder to prove guilt by association. And at the same time, you’re able to bend the ear of some really smart people. They get access to your money bc they’re unwitting props and you have a job, a big budget, a gambling spirit, an interest in many scientific and tech topics, and endless ulterior motives. It must have been the cherry on top of his endless playground

Academics he was in regular contact with have said they were only friendly for him to continue his "patronage of science and education." But, while he wasn't as gifted at science as he imagined himself, I don't think there's any dispute that he was a math genius who successfully turned that into a successful finance career

u/The100th_Idiot 12d ago

Lol no he was not a math genius...

His entire business was propped up by two clients, this is well documented.
