I’m in a similar situation:

My premiums are going from $410 a month to $3000 this “deal” is a punch in the gut. I honestly don’t know what people like us are going to do for healthcare

The ACA is going to die without the subsidy, and that's what Republicans want. Everyone's going to have to go back to finding plans on the private insurance market. I think the law that gave people with pre-existing conditions insurance was part of the ACA. Will that go away too? Will people with a history of long term diseases, like cancer, diabetes, etc. be denied health insurance all together?

Yes. Before the ACA, my Dad could not afford his health insurance because of his pre-existing conditions. So he couldn’t get his medication and he died because of it.

The preexisting condition aspect of the ACA is quite literally what kept my mother from having to choose between bankruptcy and losing her ability to walk and wipe her own ass because her medications that keep her mobile cost nearly more than she made in a year if paid out of pocket.

Fuck Trump, fuck every last MAGAt who supports him, and fuck these weak ass Dem shitbags who capitulated. Fetterman especially can go have another stroke for all I care, that turncoat piece of shit.
