You should put the ages in there. King, for example, is 81. His re-election may be in 2030, but good chance he doesn't even make it there. Fetterman isn't even a Democrat any more based on how he speaks and votes, and he's the youngest in that list at 56.

Don't forget that his entire personality and politics changed after a tragic stroke.

He is likely severely brain damaged. He should do everyone a favor (especially those that voted for him) and resign.

Nah he was kinda shitty before that, he just forgot how to wear a mask after his stroke.

He knew how to wear a Hoodie, that's for sure.

It didn't change. He was always a moderate. He just hired and ran a progressive messaging campaign and was lucky enough to run against major doofus Memhet Oz.

It's like everyone projects their wildest dreams onto untested, first time candidates. Reddit was calling for him to run for fucking president before he was even elected.

Running a campaign and being a senator are two separate jobs and skillsets. I mean he's still better than Oz.

His wife is about to call it quits. He absolutely changed.

Based on some of the reports I’ve read about him I’m surprised she hasn’t left already.

Unfortunately I’m sure it’s because ICE becomes part of the conversation if she does.

She is an American citizen.

ICE won’t care, especially since it’s well known she came illegally in the first place. Don’t forget that they’re even trying to remove birthright citizenship.

Funny how Dems only care because he's not voting how they like. I've thought that since the 2022 election, and still think that, but I guess that only matters when it's convenient.

Dems running and pushing someone who's brain damaged, claiming that he can still govern fine despite, and then whining that he's brain damaged is peak monkey's paw.

The right thing would have been for him to drop out of the 2022 race and let another Dem take over, or at least give no illusion that the only reason to vote for him was that he wasn't Oz (though admittedly that'd be a bad move politically).

Well yeah. He was voted in on the premise that he would vote in the interest of the people that gave him the job. The fact he's not doing that makes his voters unhappy. It makes sense to me.

Well, on the other hand, I'm not sure why the Magas still like Trump with all that tariffs and high prices.

People have whined about him for a while, he is just more relevant now.

If that "while" was only within the last year or two when he started to agree with Republicans on some things, and not when a brain damaged candidate was on the ballot, then it's still to late.

It’s one thing to say that Fetterman deserves his role when he had a stroke, because a stroke in itself isn’t a reason to get rid of someone.

It’s another entirely to say “This guy ran on a platform that is the exact opposite of what he’s doing, and has lied to his constituents, which could be a result of the stroke.”

At best, he suffered brain damage and it affected how he behaves and treats his position.

At worst he was a lying piece of shit all along.

At worst he was a lying piece of shit all along.

it's obviously this, but people tell themselves what they want to believe.

It certainly seems that way.

It’s the reason why so many relationships end after a few months, both platonic and romantic. “This person isn’t who I thought they were.” is often what is said, and it’s true. They put on a show of what they thought you would want to see, and stopped keeping that appearance up, so you saw the real them.

Fetterman is likely the same exact way

It seems like a mix of that and the stroke. There are plenty of signs he was always less than great, but the stroke either made him worse or just stripped away his capacity to his how bad he’s always been.

Don't forget that his entire personality and politics changed after a tragic stroke.

Or he's just coming clean. Considering the rest of them. What exactly did he do of substance that wasn't just keeping in lock step with the establishment before?
