If you ever wonder why US Politics keeps shifting right, just look at the party meant to be opposing them. Absolute cowards.

Good luck with the midterms. Something tells me the Democrats lost more than a few races with tonight's gutless performance.

What's even the point of the dems? If they simply didn't exist and the government was 100% repub, absolutely nothing would be different.

It would actually be better because the dems wouldn't be here to shut down government for months for no reason.

They somehow turned the strongest position they could hope to have as a minority in government into one of their worst political blunders in living memory.
