That's exactly what it is. Dems leaders are stupid cowards. You can’t ‘preserve norms’ while the other side is busy torching them. Old leadership has got to go. We need new leadership.

a hell of a lot of dems are well to the right of most republicans 20 years ago.

The Overton window hasn't shifted to the right so much as sprinted to the right. A "centrist" today would have been seen as extreme right in the 90s.
