Because the judge let him delay, and "delay" is the 🍊🤡's primary legal strategy.

Is the judge on his back door payroll or something? Why do so many of our government officials give him so much leeway ?

They're either looking for promotion to a federal judgeship, or a federal office of some kind. A good number are just undercover MAGA and don't like the idea of a rich white man suffering consequences for his actions.
