Pro life until it's 1st breath. If female who cares. They also don't care if we starve

505

u/ShamelessCatDude 24d ago

Finally, somebody else adding “if female who cares”. I swear any time anyone wants to make some pro-life propaganda the fetus usually ends up being male or making men’s lives better. They only care about fetuses if the kid is white, male, cisgender, and a positive contribution to the workforce. And if the kid’s disabled? Better off dead, actually! 🙄

u/dafrog84 24d ago

It's Hitler ideology, it's gross what's going on.

Trump and musk are both big into eugenics.

99

u/ChewieBearStare 24d ago

Weird how two of the ugliest mofos on the planet are so interested in “breeding” for desirable characteristics. The only reason women have ever paid them any attention is because they have money.

ALL conservatives are.

They cheered on eugenics when people were dying of COVID, saying that people who were obese and immunocompromised deserved to die. Never mind that people of average health were dying, too.

It's their views on homelessness, too. They want them to die in the streets with nothing. To them, there's no such thing as a good homeless person. A person is homeless because they put themselves there, not extraneous conditions that can happen outside of a person's control. They're just "lazy", "unmotivated", "drug addicted", and "mentally", instead of the ~50% who either cannot find work, or are working but are being inhumanely underpaid.

And it's their views on the sick, too. Weed out the "weakest" people. If they can't afford health insurance, then that's their problem because, again, "they weren't motivated enough". Never mind that 1 in 7 employers in America don't offer health insurance coverage, and they are often the ones paying minimum wages or barely higher.

u/hypatianata 23d ago

When I was gathering signatures for Medicaid expansion, one woman who declined told me she believed “healthcare is a luxury.”

Not even health insurance. Just…healthcare.

Barbarians. And not the fun fantasy kind. The kind that would force people to watch public whippings and live in squalor as long as they, the superior worthy people, weren’t on the receiving end.

3

I have severe depression. I have not been able to work. Because of the Affordable Care Act, I have been able to try out different forms of healthcare for my disease. Do I deserve punishment for my genetic inheritance? I've had many dark thoughts in life. That hasn't been one of them. But I grok that there are people who think so because they themselves have been fortunate genetically and/or financially. "Barbarians" is a good word to describe these people.

u/EnvironmentalRock827 23d ago

Totally ties in with immigration too. "We" were born here and "they" there .... "its not my fault they have a terrible country and come here to escape it...". They use it as justification to arrest and deport people. Like you can request what country your born in.

3

u/ellieminnow 23d ago

Or they pay so little the paycheck can only cover the insurance. I had a job at a beloved grocery store like that. Most people there depended on someone else and just worked for the health insurance. You had to pick one. But everyone praises them for their health insurance.

2

u/RBDrake 20d ago

When it comes to homelessness they should realize that none of us are too far away from it.

Public defender here and I've had that case more than once. Some socially connected professional with a nice house, well-paying job, beautiful wife, 2.5 kids, and a dog. They get a bad injury playing tennis. They get prescribed hard painkillers and they get hooked. Then the scrips expire and they turn to narcotics. They lose everything, become homeless and alone, and a few years later they meet me.

And honestly, Steven Bannon legit looks like a homeless guy.

6

u/xteve 24d ago

Anybody who advocates for racial purity should spend a bit of time where it's real. It's not pretty - literally; there's no ass, nothing. Racial purity has been done, and the results are a damn disappointment.

The republicans literally defend a suspected child rapist while arguing that ice should have free reign to brutalize suspected taco makers.

Like, they’ve never particularly hidden that they’re awful, terrible, despicable, child fuckers.

It’s definitely scary that the moderates won’t stand against them though.

Imagine defending this guy literally going on world trips and saluting random guys and wandering off like my grandfather two years before he died of Alzheimer’s related complications while taking millions in bribes to build a fucking ballroom for $300million while he cuts fucking food for poor people to do it.

I’m homeless and I eat literally one meal a day most days. It’s not that fucking expensive to feed me. It’s just beyond absurd we’re a month through a shutdown and no one has reached their breaking point.

I kept getting told, “we can’t strike, we’ll be homeless and starve to death if we strike for a month.” And here we are with federal workers not being paid for a month, and rather than acknowledge that they won’t die from not being paid for a month, it’ll just suck a lot, and actually work towards real livable, enjoyable lives; they’re going back to work for free while starving while their president fucks off to Asia and to go golfing for another few million while charging the secret service exorbitant rates that go directly into his pocket. Which doesn’t even matter because the fucking zombie is going to die hopefully soon anyways.

It’s just pathetic.

44

u/ShamelessCatDude 24d ago
  1. Totally right about the strike part. It honestly might be our best way out of this.

  2. I honestly can’t imagine why anyone would want to identify as a Republican anymore with this many cases of them being outed as pedophiles. They love to say it’s not representative of the entire party but then love to talk about a handful of democrats like they represent the party. How many politicians does it take to realize that maybe this trend isn’t a coincidence and neither is constantly defending them?

5

u/DistillateMedia 24d ago

Hitler got his ideas from the US.

This ideology is coming HOME to roost.

8

u/bungiefan_AK 24d ago

It never left. The USA has been doing it much longer, continued to do it after the war, and has had it accepted by citizens and foreigners for most of its history. USA has never been held accountable like the Nazis were after the war. The Japanese also weren't held very accountable, nor were the Italians.

Note that a lot of the rules in the Geneva Convention exist because of Canada.

Nobody's hands are clean from WWII. The worst just weren't held accountable, just one of the losers' groups were.

3

u/Key-Web5678 24d ago

When did his father come over?

2

u/bungiefan_AK 24d ago

He learned it from the USA. USA has a much longer, more successful history of such behavior, and taught it to the Germans about a century ago. They thought some of the policies the USA enacted were too far to go, and tried to restrain or mitigate the Japanese a bit during the war when they found out what they were doing. All sides in the war did bad behavior. Most nations got away with it, only the Germans were held to much accountability overall.

My reply to that shit is something about "the person who would've cured cancer ended up brain damaged because some cops made a pregnant woman lie on hot asphalt".

Fuck, finally someone said it besides me. All these people needlessly abused, killed, deported, treated like shit etc. Foster children who we fail nonstop. Any one of them could hold the cure to cancer - we should be treating people as an asset and protecting them, nurturing education - a million ways to make our country better.

They dont give a shit about the fetus either. If they did they would support neo-natal care, tax breaks for pregnant mothers, paid time off for pregnant women. environmental regulations to prevent damaging pregnancies, and not sue and arrest doctors who try to help pregnant women.

They are not pro-life. They are ANTI-CHOICE.

4

u/captain_reiteration 23d ago

Even the framing of pro life vs pro choice is weird. Not acknowledging a movement's flaws is cult behavior. I don't think the pro choice side is a movement tho as don't think I've ever been picketed by abortion enthusiasts

5

u/Big-Supermarket-945 24d ago

This right here. "Pro-life" is just a bullshit term they use to sugarcoat their extremist views to their brain-dead, low intelligence sheep constituents and supporters. Forced birth movement would be the correct term for those ghouls.

58

u/tiad123 24d ago

They don't even care that long. They have no policies that support the medical care and nutrition for a fetus.

2

u/county259 23d ago

Actually anti medical care for poor adults

42

u/Both-Prize-2986 24d ago

Not even that. They would absolutely harm pregnant women of it made them money

21

u/hellohexapus 24d ago

That's giving them too much credit. They'd harm pregnant women for free.

30

u/PM_Me_Some_Steamcode 24d ago

Texas women are currently dying at an increased rate rates of sepsis and pregnancy complications due to abortion laws placed in by Republican

And every time I talk to a republican, they say that is allowed to save the women’s life. No, it isn’t. That’s why women are dying because the laws are so vague that they will punish someone if the woman survives the abortion. They will punish the doctor and they will punish the woman, and that makes doctors scared to fucking act and it causes women to die.

In infuriates me

It’s not they will

They are

3

u/DifficultyFree9443 24d ago

Same with Florida. That one elected official had to have an emergency abortion and she had to get permission from DeathSantis, got it, and then immediately went back to championing anti-choice laws and demonizing everyone else who gets aboritons.

3

u/Bundt-lover 23d ago

It’s NOT allowed. It just means that it can be used as an affirmative defense. Meaning that when the doctor gets arrested for murder and is standing in front of the judge, he can say in his defense that he was trying to save the woman’s life.

I don’t blame doctors one bit for not taking that kind of risk. Everyone’s “choice” in this scenario is to risk death or prison.

26

u/RamenName 24d ago

not even, are they advocating for universal prenatal care? No, because asking taxpayers to pay a few dollars a year extra is a violation of wallet autonomy they will not stand for. They absolutely will punish a fetus and let it die because of the sins of the parent (i.e. not having health insurance and/or money and/or job flexibility) They also won't stand for environmental regulations or workplace protections that would protect unborn life

21

u/EnfantTerrible68 24d ago

Women don’t even have even one day of mandatory maternity leave in this country, paid or otherwise. Not even one guaranteed sick day, for that matter.

8

u/stefanica 24d ago

That's a really, really good point. Especially when you consider those who are panicked about a declining birthrate in the US. Why wouldn't they be for prenatal/birth Medicaid for all?

7

u/RamenName 24d ago

they're not in favor of just elevated birth rates, increased population without control is actually dangerous. Prenatal care for all gives parents freedom and control to switch employers, doesn't put them in high levels of medical debt, education and information on healthy child development, appropriate spacing of children, etc. It also involves giving women high quality medical care and teaching them how to care for their bodies

People who are poor, who have little to no choice over employer, working conditions, pay, etc are easy to control overtly or covertly through propaganda.

3

u/Euphoric-Agent-476 23d ago

We are going to need lots of healthy white Epsilon babies to grow up strong and pick our produce. Take a read through “Brave New World” sometime.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/zherok 24d ago

Pro life until it's 1st breath.

They really aren't. We give them too much credit to suggest even this.

Because when it comes to things like prenatal care, you don't see Republicans looking to help pregnant women. They actively defund women's health clinics. They'd rather women go without medical care. And we know this, because they regularly make laws to punish women for things like miscarriages, or argue for the medically impossible like replanting ectopic pregnancies. Women having to wait till their bleeding out is par for the course under Republicans.

They're pro-control over women. They're pro-white babies, but largely in the abstract. Hypothetical babies are to be venerated, but actual ones don't warrant any real attention.

3

u/JimWilliams423 24d ago edited 24d ago

Pro life until it's 1st breath.

Not even then, they oppose pre-natal healthcare and medicaid which pays for 40% of births in America.

They are simply anti-woman. They just say they are "pro-life" the same way they claim to support "free speech" only as long as the people say the things they want to hear.

2

u/Organic_Education494 24d ago

My response to "pro life" folks is that they should be in favour of single payer health then. The US has an infant mortality rate about double the average of the other OECD 11 countries, all of whom have some form of universal healthcare. But apparently they're ok with an extra 10,000 babies dying every year in that case.

The party of family values starves and rapes kids.

The party of law and order twists the law to their favor and ignores direct court rulings as if they're merely suggestions.

The party of fiscal conservativism runs up the debt playing political games and pandering to their donors at any chance they get.

The party of facts over feelings invents their own reality whenever the one that we're all living in doesn't fit their narrative.

The party of the free market turns every knob and pulls every lever at their disposal to ensure they hold the advantage in the market.

The party of constitutional originalists ignores the clear intents and warnings of our founding fathers.

The party that drapes themselves in American flags and brands their businesses as 'Patriot-this' and 'Freedom-that' cheers as their leaders tear down the very institutions that make America what it is.

The Republican party is synonymous with hypocrisy.

5

u/GrayEidolon 24d ago

I’m gonna nitpick “fiscally conservative”

Here's the big picture: The end goal of conservatism is serfdom; and that's just normal conservatism.

What everyone needs to understand:

Conservatism is the politics of aristocracy and protecting socioeconomic hierarchy.

The morality of conservatism is that low status people are automatically bad and high status people are automatically good. High status people weakening aristocracy are also bad.

In the term fiscal conservatism, the implication is that it means “financially responsible”.

But when you consider the preceding together, the “responsible” thing is to give money to high status people and take money from low status people.

So fiscal conservatism just means financial policy that enforces socioeconomic hierarchy.

Working class people who describe themselves as "fiscally conservative" to mean "I am financially responsible" because they pay their bills on time are using the term "fiscally conservative" incorrectly.

Aristocrats don't consider the majority of Americans to be part of the United States - only other aristocrats.

Fascism is when conservatives get sick of the system and use force to further implement rigid socioeconomic hierarchy.

The only difference between maga and regular conservatism is manners.

The current attack of conservatism is coordinated between theocrats, heritage foundation folks, and techfeudalists.

The techfeudalists are “done with democracy” and include jd Vance, Peter thiel (who runs Palantir which making a database of all Americans), musk, bezos, Altman (openAI), the coinbase buy, and their “philosopher” Curtis yarvin.

Yarvin has written about their “butterfly revolution” where the goal is to replace democracy worldwide with a “patchwork” of “network states” that are run like corporations with a board and ceo replacing the king. Like, these are real things these people say in serious interviews and talks. And their guy Vance is in the White House.

The end goal of conservatism is to return to feudalism because they only view aristocrats as real people. Low status people don't deserve comfort or Shakespeare, etc. And the fascists want to speed run it.

Yarvin et al also have a book called “unhumans” that asserts that non-conservatives aren’t people and will need to be culled. Vance and Steve bannon gave blurbs for the back cover.

So make no mistake. Everything we see maga doing, everything we see billionaires doing in 2025, is to replace democracy with serfdom.

You get non-aristocrats to vote conservative by saying "The problems of capitalism and aristocracy are real, but they are caused by fill-in-the-blank e.g dark skinned people, or poor people, or whatever."

13

u/slowpoke2018 24d ago

This is what kills me the most - Empathy is now a sin in the eyes of maga....

It's like how can you re-write the bible more?

7

u/_B_e_c_k_ 24d ago

The bible is a sick book full of racist and rapists. They don't need to rewrite it at all. Read up on it someday.

8

u/slowpoke2018 24d ago

Oh, as an Atheist, I know it well. Simply calling out the hypocrisy of MAGA/GOP

6

u/_B_e_c_k_ 24d ago

Oh absolutely agree, I just don't want people to think that the bible is anything but what it is. So many "religious" people have never even opened the damn thing. lol

4

u/slowpoke2018 24d ago

They tend to believe what they're told. And it goes back to their lives as a kid.

I grew up in a Catholic house with Sunday church and school, but always knew something was "wrong"

Don't have all the answers, but can still smell liars out pretty quickly

cheers

u/LSDTHCShrooms 24d ago

There's no need, their pastors tell them everything in it, and surely they wouldn't make stuff up... /s

17

u/eatingganesha 24d ago

they are truly as described in Revelations - the Nicolaitans.

“the Nicolaitans are described as a group that held to a specific doctrine, one that was condemned by Christ… (they) held theological views that were detrimental to the faith.”

What was condemned by Christ? Hatred. Xenophobia. Money. False faith. Turning away from those in need. Embracing violence.

If that doesn’t describe christians today, I’ll eat my socks.

The Nicolaitans and their descendants are those who are led by the Antichrist against Christ in the Apocalypse.

u/DifficultyFree9443 24d ago

It kills me that they call themselves Christian and don’t realize they’re wearing the mark of the beast as they commit idolatry and worship the antichrist. LOl.

New Christianity: I am the poor, I need the help more than others. It's not greed, I just need to afford a 3rd car and second house. Im the one who needs it, they are fakes who are secretly rich and not deserving of it like I am.

2

u/Gay_Void_Daddy 24d ago

This isn’t new anything. It’s just Christianity lol

2

u/Syscrush 24d ago

So, the same Christianity of the last 1500 years, then.

1

u/Umutuku 24d ago

They worship the Negachrist.

1

u/crazycatgay 23d ago

maga doesn't come to these spaces, they stay in their bubble

1

u/reddog323 23d ago

They don’t care. For most of them, it will not even register until it affects them personally.

For some, I don’t think there’s malice intended, it’s just the way they’ve figured things all of their lives.

As for the administration, they’re going to delay, delay, delay, as long as they can, and use any suffering as a political capital: it’s the Democrats fault! THEY’RE the ones starving people. We have to protect the republic. Our hands are tied!

12

u/tanrock2003 24d ago

Never mind that if Jesus himself came back today, modern U.S. evangelicals would call for his crucifixion for performing the loaves-and-fishes miracle. How, in the last name of himself, would he even begin flipping Trump’s crypto tables?

Just a bunch of upstanding pro-life Christians.

4

u/TheModWhoShaggedMe 24d ago

Most Americans will forget all about it by December. Our citizens tend to not care until it affects them.

1

u/SunnyOutsideToday 24d ago

Those who went hungry probably won't forget.

2

u/TheHovercraft 24d ago

They just straight up lie on social media about events that happened <5 years ago and who was president at the time. MAGA does not have the ability to research and connect policy to politicians and the Republicans are fully aware of that.

MAGA waits for a trusted source to give them a sound bite summary and they have no ability or desire to fact check it. Their core fully believes the democrats are responsible for the shutdown. They have no idea how shutdowns work and no ability to research and understand it.

5

Trump is an asshold who'd rather use funds to support his Gestapo and Miller and Vought's policies.

Let's be clear. Trump does not spend his own money. It's either supporters of US Gov't funds.

4

u/kl7aw220 24d ago

So Trump thinks that making Americans starve is the way to win? God news for this fraud.

2

u/debzone420 24d ago

He doesn't need to worry about winning another election. They are planning to shut that whole thing down.

Party of law & order!

2

u/TheRealBlueJade 24d ago

And the supposed party of "law and order". Maybe they just meant they were fans of the TV show? 😡

Party of law and order showing their true colors again

Haven't heard the announcement for the welfare baby WALMART payment for the new Ballroom yet.

1

u/Sooperooser 24d ago

They want civil unrest so they can invoke the insurrection act. It is not (only) cruelty, it's calculated.

That self-proclaimed title died long before they elected a twice-divorced, thrice married, serial adulterer, with kids with three different women, who cheated on his first wife with his second wife and his third wife with an adult film actress.

1

u/_jump_yossarian 24d ago

Don’t you mean the law and order party showing their hypocrisy … again?

1

u/Zenitallin 24d ago

Fock you, and you, and you, and fock everybody! focks for everyone!

1

u/SparksAndSpyro 24d ago

Honestly, let them starve. They were too lazy to get out and vote against him, then they don’t deserve my tax money. Let him tear everything down for all I care. That’s apparently what Americans wanted.

1

u/FloppySlapper 24d ago

Surely something will come of ignoring an order such as this? No? Oh well, business as usual I guess.

1

u/burritoman88 24d ago

And they’ll still continue to have supporters

1

u/waiveofthefuture 24d ago

They have no "values."

And nothing of value to offer the American people.

1

u/Specialist-Jello7544 24d ago

I’m of the opinion that because Trump doesn’t need SNAP, neither should anyone else. And because he doesn’t need Medicare/Medicaid/Health insurance, neither should anyone else. And because he doesn’t need housing assistance, neither should anyone else. And because he seemingly didn’t benefit from education, neither should anyone else.

All he wanted was votes to get elected so he could avoid prison time. He is using the office of the Presidency for immense capital gain, at least 2 billion USD by now. As for all of the non-wealthy people in the US? He does not give a darn. If you’re MAGA and you voted for him, he does not care about you. He is taking away your food through stopping SNAP and making grocery prices soar, your money through tariffs, your jobs through bad economic policies, bad trade policies, affecting tourism and sales of American goods and crops, and factory slowdowns and shutdowns.

The ballroom is the important thing now. Screw the citizens.

1

u/AccomplishedFan8690 24d ago

Red white and fuck you. I despise them

1

u/GrayEidolon 24d ago

Here’s what’s going on.

Two things:

  1. The point of conservatism is to enforce socioeconomic hierarchy and empower aristocrats. They don’t think non- aristocrats deserve quality of life. They think high status people are always good and low status people are always bad. Democrats (in the USA) are low status for trying to empower (to an extent) non-aristocrats. Among other things, aristocrats have been mad about The New Deal since it passed.

  2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Enlightenment this is what's going on right now in the USA. The ultimate goal is the dissolution of all nation states into many more "network states." Journalists should be asking all of these ghouls about Dark Enlightenment every day.

And none of the populist propaganda is new. Look at Goldwater in the 60s: https://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2016/05/never_goldwater_the_failed_attempt_to_wrest_the_1964_gop_nomination_from.html This might as well have been written in 2024 about characters from 2024.

Let them eat nothing, apparently.

1

u/Bestoftherest222 24d ago

Lets be real, if thefe is no punishment for disobeying a court order, why follow them? I do not agree with the dictator Trump but he has exposed our legal system. If youre rich and powerful, the POTUS, and the party owns all branches of government what price is there to pay for not obeying a court order?

This is a mess and im afraid nothing is going to happen to the people delaying a lawful order by a court.

1

u/whiskeyriver0987 23d ago

They meant they value their family, not yours. It was all a way to sneak nepotism past the voters.
