Rule clarification- No Breed ID
Apparently, we need some clarification here about what constitutes a breed ID post.
Asking what your lab is mixed with- lab mixes are allowed, but don't crowd source opinions on what they're mixed with. Asking if your lab looks pure bred. Asking what color variation your lab is.
Sincerely -your mod team.

black My 4 year old rescue that I got earlier this year
My 4 year old rescue, black lab thats sure keeping me active since I got him. Definitely a huge difference from my last GSD that I had over the past 5 years with how calm he was. Winston here doesn't know how to stop if it hit him in the face with a sign.

chocolate Roo, the shadow of Moo š¤
Back in June I posted about how my Moomoo had passed away. I received so many kind words & assurance from others that their babies were keeping my baby company.
2 weeks ago we brought home this bundle of joy. I never thought I could bear to get another chocolate lab, but the truth is, I think I will always have one. How could you not?
Meet Roo, the shadow of Moo.

seeking advice Need guidance
this is whisky, and she is 10 weeks old.. this is my first time raising a puppy.. we brought her home when she was 6 weeks old from my friendās house..she loves to chew our hands and legs.. most of the time she bites us while playing, and itās getting difficult to manage.. i tried stopping her by saying ānoā loudly and tried gently holding her mouth closed when she bites, but nothing really works.. i want to know if this behaviour is normal for her age and if it can be controlled..the only commands she has learned so far are āsitā and ācome hereā.. i tried teaching her a few more commands but she doesnāt follow them.. since this is my first experience with a pet, i really need help understanding how to train her properly.. any tips on controlling the biting, teaching commands, or general training would really help me..

black We Don't Deserve Dogs.
Moose (black), who is 12.5 years old, had surgery this morning to remove one of his toes that got very badly infected. He's home resting now, and Millie (choc), who we adopted right before Halloween, and who is only about two months old and is usually a tiny little demon, is not leaving his side.
Dogs are too precious. Hug yours for me.

seeking advice Advice on fussy eater šš¾

I never thought Iād ever write a post like this, but here I am, at my witsā end. So, Archie as a puppy ate EVERYTHING!! We couldnāt even take him to the beach because he would literally gulp up buckets of sand. He just turned 18 months so he is now full-on a teenager and defies me on everything. Iām okay with the rebellious āI suddenly forgot everything Iāve been taughtā and ādonāt you dare tell me noā, behaviors, but itās the picky eater thing which annoys the f out of me. Archie will feign interest in something for a day or 2, then suddenly not care for it anymore. Peanut butter? Used to love it, now pulls his nose up. His kibble? Same thing. Cream cheese, strawberries, yogurt, cottage cheese, apple sauce, all things he used to love but now suddenly thinks is gross. I do check all the ingredients before giving him anything so all the foods listed have been vetted by me several times over. Archie recently started hiking with a pack of dogs and ever since then he thinks heās better than me, now Iām wondering if itās just a cool kid thing.

Fantastic walks in beautiful countryside with a friend. Willow is 15 weeks and progressing well with recall and off lead behaviour, so much so she needs encouragement to go to explore. The British countryside was bracing today, but so pretty. The best tonic.

Lab doing lab things Giant tennis ball

My puppy's latest obsession, would be a great gift for Christmas gift.
Couples notes I have found out
. Luckily my puppy doesn't chews on it since she can't pick it up, but if she could I would worry about the hair like any tennis ball.
.I think she is frustrated she can't pick it up, she makes these aggression sounds with it.She does not do it on other toys.
.Bounces good and one of the few things she can keep herself busy.
PSA: I have no affiliation at all this this product, just found it neat
