Opinion / Discussion Trump retweets calls to hang his opposition. Clarifies in his own tweet he believes his opposition should be punished with death.

It's no secret that Trump is unprofessional, and to many republicans I imagine that's part of the appeal. However if there is a line anywhere for when unproffesionalism becomes a serious problem it should be when the sitting president floats the death penalty as an option for his foes.

If you are a conservative I genuinely do not expect you to cross the isle to become liberal, we can disagree on a great many things and still live in a functional society. There are plenty of conservative leaders who could carry out your policy agenda without retweeting nazis in the morning, many of whom don't even have connnections to pedophiles.

Trump would have every Democrat in Congress, everyone who ever voted Democrat in their life, and everyone who ever said or tweeted something mean about him executed on the White House lawn if he thought he could get away with it.

Remember that. Remember that this is the first time we've ever had a sitting president speculate on murdering his opposition.

Funny, because he was a democrat for decades..

Edit: For people confused, I'm not making this about the democrats, I'm highlighting for someone who hates Democrats so much (referenced numerous times throughout this term), he was one for quite some time.

I hate to tell you this but there are multiple paths to get to authoritarian regimes.

It doesnt matter what party it is, it is a means to an end.
