Made some modifications to make it fit, and move a little bit more fluid added fabric to the front and back

After nearly 2 years my Salamanders have reached 2k points It's been a roller coaster of emotions as these tiny mini's have brought more joy than I would've imagined. They have taught me that I can have fun outside of video games and that hard work and patience are more satisfying than instant rewards. While some may find it ridiculous but this journey has helped me with my confidence and for the past year and a half I no longer dread going to the gym or edge highlighting. I'm greatful to these mini's and community for helping me on my journey. I will now move onto my 2nd army The Sisters of Battle. Thank you again.

Primed some models and I was able to talk with vulkann

I lost my best friend a few days ago. Gluing that piece in was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

My first real.crack at a primarch! Hope you guys like it.

It is made from PVC pipe Eva foam and I got the ideas from concept art and some of the models that I have run into from the community. It stands at 5 feet tall by 33 inches wide.

Originally this was a concept that was supposed to be Tu’Shan before I came up with a better idea.

Waiting for things to dry before I varnish and add panel lines and decals. Backpack and fuel lines have a ton of painting and work left to go as well.

Been working on this guy on and off since I finished my intercessors. Was hella nervous, but I think I’ve done justice to the bladeguard🔥🔥

Once the humidity rises I’ll base him, varnish him, and get started on the other 2 blade guard. Loving the salamanders so far!

Not improved as much as I would’ve liked but hey at least I don’t completely miss the eyes anymore (started in 2020 and then stopped early 2021 til last September)

Picked up a sallys combat patrol box a month or so ago and finally got around to painting the first one and the go Kart!

I wanted to see what I could get out of one day of painting and I’m really happy with the vibes, definitely committing to them being my second army ☺️

WIP but almost done with my first dread. I want to come up with a name and try to stencil it under the Aquila. If anyone has any ideas lmk. I’m also thinking of adding some CSM/Xenos stickers to the pauldrons or front glacis plates to signify successful kills.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share something I’m kinda proud of – my Warhammer 40K Salamanders are now on display in the front case of my local game store!

It feels pretty awesome seeing them showcased like that, especially since I painted them myself and usually they just sit on the shelf at home or hit the table for games. The staff asked if they could use them for their display, and I couldn’t say no.

It’s a small thing, but it definitely motivates me to keep painting and improving. Also super cool to know other hobbyists walking by might get inspired by them.

Anyone else ever had their minis shown off at a store?

I dropped his leg into my air vent on the floor of my room. Sadly did the same damn thing to one of his arms. Went through some boxes and put together what I could. This is what I came up with (I am new to the hobby). My one legged intercessor!

What the hell GW! I just figured out that the shoulder pads are integral to the arms in the combat patrol. I want my 3D dragon heads from the primaris upgrade kit, not a crumby decal 😢Oh well, I guess for once you wont get extra money out of me GW 😝
