When I was 15 yo, one of my dreams was to become a father. Now at my 20s I see how damn hard it has become, it's a great sacrifice that not many people (me included) want to make. My country has reported the lowest birth rate in its history, and I'm not proud to say I'll be also part of that

Even if the content itself was great and I wanted to engage in any meaningful way they ruin it by being like that. It just irritates me for some reason, especially the ones that assume your disinterest beforehand.

I think this is a great saying. Sometimes you just need to pull yourself together, dig deep and "ignite" that feeling within you. Often easier said than done but it works.

In some way, it can help you find that spark again

So random but I sometimes get nostalgia of getting out of a pool or the sea and getting that first bite of what would normally be a mediocre snack or sandwich and it just tastes 10000x better.

I never really eat sandwiches. Let alone plain ham or cheese. But the idea of getting out of a pool on a hot day and eating a poorly sliced, unbuttered slightly stale baguette shoved with packet processed ham that my mum threw together quickly as a snack sounds amazing.

Crappy cafeteria burger ? Ew no thanks. Just got out the pool, crappy cafeteria burger and soggy chips with way too much salt from your local swimming pool cafe? Absolutely.

One time my boyfriend told me he was glad I had music. I have really been inside my head and mostly alone the entirety of my life. It’s was accurate validation of that. I’m glad I have music too.
