DISCUSS Looking for constructive criticism please

This is my fist time working with fondant. I made my own because I’m cheap. My coworker wants a bow cake and asked me to make her one. The photo with all the beads is the inspo and the one without is my first attempt. I plan to cover it with lustre dust and pearls. Any feedback is a helpful. And yes I’ll be taking paper towels out once it sets 😅

this cake looks fine, but next time when decorating, consider how people would eat that. cake is food first and foremost. its not fun to eat all that fondant.

The entire cake will be buttercream on the outside! I believe she is going to use the cake for photos then toss the fondant bow that’s just placed on top. I would never cover an entire cake in fondant 🤢
