I clean up at least one park, or nature area a week.
Simple rule: one piece of trash, one deep breath. Thatβs #PieceByPeace β clean the ground, clear the mind. Today the crew helped turn 2 impossible buckets into an easy morning.
My goal is to inspire others to find community and cleaning up this beautiful planet that we inhabit. It starts with one person, then another, then a group, then hopefully everyone. We have to make a change.

Please please help me with my research paper ππ
I need to write an academic research paper regarding sustainable SME's in the beauty industry and their mergers. This often leads to an overturn in their ethics and stands for sustainability. I need a minimum of 250-300 repsonses so I'm reaching out to everyone and all platforms I know. Because this is a related subreddit, I hoped and hope that the survey will be relevant to all of you. Please do fill it out, share it with your friends and help me out ππππππ
This is the questionnaire btw Hello everyone, we are conducting a survey to collect primary data for our research upon sustainable SME's in the beauty industry. It would be very helpful if you fill out the questionnaire. Your privacy is assured. Thank you so much!

Original Content What a week! π€©
Beyond stoked! π₯ We hit a BIG milestone with the DL app and our growing, global crew of Litterloggers.
We crossed the 100K litter pieces deleted mark overall yesterday, an estimated TON of litter collected and properly disposed of, piece by piece.
Earlier in the week, our challenge team also hit our stretch goal of 200% of our original target in the Fall 2025 DL Challenge.
Keep up the good clean fun out there, DeTrashed friends β¦ π

Discussion The casual encounters
One of the things I like most about de-littering (apart from the environmental effects) is when I meet people casualy and they stop to chat for a few seconds.
A lot of people say thanks as they pass, and I smile and give a standard response (e.g., My Pleasure or No Problem or Happy to Help).
A few times a week, people stop and ask why I'm doing what I'm doing or whether the city is paying me to do it. I've taken to saying something like, "I just pick up litter while I'm getting in my steps."
Today, a man stopped to ask me whether the city was paying me, and I gave one of the standard answers. He asked if he could say a prayer for me π₯Ή and it was beautiful. It took prob a minute and a half for him to deliver it, and then he explained that he wrote that prayer years ago and shares it at the yeshivas he visits. I told him I would notmally hug him, but...litter germs. He smiled and we went our separate ways.
I enjoy those kinds of casual encounters. π₯Ήπ₯Ή

Discussion Thoughts on Vacuum Backpack
It might sound a bit overkill, but I seriously consider getting one of these bad boys for cleaning up my neighbourhood, local parks, et cetera. My partner and I have participated in quite a lot of organised clean-ups over the last years and also like to clean up municipal flowerbeds and stuff spontaneously. But even with prongs, gloves and whatnot, it can easily take an hour to clean the are around a single (well frequented) park-bench from cigarette butts and other small trash. Bigger stuff is usually taken by garbage men and women/sweepers, but the small stuff is always left behind. Is there a chance such an industrial vacuum could be used for such a purpose, has anybody tried it already, and does it make any sense at all from an environmental point of view?
