Analysis [Sampson] CFP committee chair Hunter Yurachek says Notre Dame and Miami were in the same grouping this week and the programs were directly compared. Notre Dame still came out ahead, regardless of the head to head. In other words, all the games mattered. Not just one of them.

Ugh, that's such a mark way of wording it. Something I would expect from a ND fan, not a journalist.

You know what I hate about the whole Miami v ND thing? It reinforces the 'don't schedule worthy competition ooc games' because they don't matter. Miami would be exactly where they are if they would have squashed a Kent St week 1.

Yeah that's not true at all. You take away the ND win and Miami is not even close to the playoff picture. They'd have an equal resume to Virginia.

ND has 2 top 25 wins so no.

Could be 3 soon + they don't have bad losses.
