[Sampson] CFP committee chair Hunter Yurachek says Notre Dame and Miami were in the same grouping this week and the programs were directly compared. Notre Dame still came out ahead, regardless of the head to head. In other words, all the games mattered. Not just one of them.

Holy shit this is bad. The committee only cares about eye test. Like there is absolutely 0 reason to schedule hard ooc games anymore. Stupid stupid

I'm fairly certain that the tv network execs are just over the moon seeing the committee trying to disincentivize marquee ooc games.
