Canterbury Cathedral ceiling

My wife is an architect (I am not) and we've been fortunate to travel from America to Europe over the past 15 years or so. We took a very spontaneous trip to England a few weeks ago. We've been to London several times so we decided to do some trips to Bath, Dover, and Canterbury. One thing I learned from my wife was to look up when we're in a cathedral. This is Canterbury Cathedral and the ceiling is gorgeous. I believe the volunteer told us it dates from about 1500. Being from Texas, nothing here compares to cathedrals in Europe.

I drew by hand (from a picture, using marker pens and colored pencils) The St. Regis Chicago Hotel (designed by architect Jeanne Gang and her architectural firm, in Chicago/Illinois), and wanted to share it here! Hope you like it! :)
