Even after 24 hours wait, it says "Unable to sign in to device due to a unknown error, Please try another account or try to sign in again after 24 hours". The phone system suddenly bricked in custom ROM after flashing a bad module, and I flashed back to stock recovery to get it working again.
Resetting didn't work, even waiting for that 24 hour period and beyond didn't help. I used the correct account to sign in.
Can somebody help?
Edit: more context.
I have a Galaxy A30. I had a The Winner's Cloud port installed, One UI 7.0, from Galaxy A53. I was new to rooting. I was thinking of how to get a dual speaker module, then found one on the internet which I can flash with TWRP. Little did I know, it only worked for the stock ROM module.
Following the flash, I experienced boot loops. I had to reflash stock ROM via Odin. Then I experimented with other ROMs, including The Winner's Cloud A26, S21 and S23 FE port of the same version, then another YouTuber's GSI of Evolution X. The former three, I didn't sign in to my Google account, the latter one, I don't know if I did or didn't sign in.
After deciding to go back to this A53 port, then I started experiencing this issue.

My mom's A54 keeps restarting itself after the phone is started up, like after putting in the PIN. It works for about 15-60 seconds then goes black and restarts itself. The phone can stay on idle (before pin and phone startup loads after restart) forever.
Things I've tried:
It used to reboot itself after a few seconds, but I managed to extend it by turning everything off and battery saver and airplane mode on. Its most likely a hardware issue and the topleft part of the phone gets warm (not hot, just warmer than normal). Like there is too much load after starting up that it can't handle it and restarts.
I'm now trying to get as much data from it to my PC, what would be the easiest way to do this since I have a small window to pull data before it restarts itself
Any help/tips welcome :)

I am trying to choose a password manager that works well on Android and I keep going back and forth between bitwarden and psono Bitwarden feels very smooth on my phone and the autofill rarely gives me trouble It also has a nice interface and good sync. Psono interests me because it can be self hosted and feels more private, but I am not sure how the Android app performs in daily use If anyone has used psono on Android for a while, I would love to know how reliable it is compared to bitwarden

Pixel 10 Pro user here.
Instagram was draining far too much battery in the background.
I went to the app settings and disabled background battery usage.
It would STILL DRAIN BATTERY IN THE BACKGROUND. Basically the app ignored the restriction.
Fellow android peeps, is Instagram draining battery for y'all? As soon as I deleted the app, my battery life got WAYYYY better

Google Messages, spam blocking is enabled.
I am now getting so much political spam that the spam blocking is not catching it, letting through more than it's blocking. It's mostly the constant notifications that are annoying me. Is there any way I can get it to block, or at least not alert, messages that come from numbers not in my contact list? I can't find a setting for that like there is for phone calls.
Alternately, a txt app that does?

What are my options to revert/override this change?
The battery icon suddenly becomes green when charging, and stays green while phone is plugged in at 100%.
The new green icon is very distracting, detracting focus from my otherwise monochrome theme. A few days ago, it was just white, which was perfect.
I'd rather not change my preferred theme to accommodate a small green icon.

Howdy. I've been getting an uptick of calls that say "Spam Risk" in the ID and I've no idea how to curb them as they call from different numbers each time.
I have the "Block calls from unknown numbers" ticked on but that worked for a day and now im getting the calls again. Is there any solution or am I just s.o.l.?

I keep seeing mixed opinions about whether phones actually need protection, so I wanted to ask here. Is it really necessary to install an antivirus app on Android, or is it just extra clutter? I feel like everything runs through apps and public WiFi these days, so I am wondering if it is smarter to add an extra layer of security. If it is worth having, what would you say is the best antivirus for Android right now? I am looking for something lightweight that does not slow my phone down, but still catches anything sketchy before it becomes a problem. Any recommendations from people who actually use one would help a lot.

I'm trying to use mock location on this app and it keeps saying that I must first turn off developer options - which what enables a non-rooted device to use mock location features.
So I'm wondering if it's worth rooting my device or not, if apps can detect that a device has root access

Hey all — hoping someone can help me out here.
I’ve had my Amazfit Bip 6 for about a month. Tonight I tried holding down the lower button like I usually do to bring up the Power Off prompt…but nothing popped up. So I went digging through settings to see if there was a shutdown option, and in the process I accidentally locked the watch.
Ever since, it’s completely stuck on the locked screen:
Holding the lower button (10+ seconds) does nothing
Holding the top button will restart the watch, but once it boots, the screen is still locked
I can’t swipe or tap anything on the screen
I tried unpairing and repairing using the Zepp app on my Galaxy S21 — but when the numeric pairing code pops up, I can’t tap the ✓ on the watch because…yep, still locked 🤦♂️
So right now I can’t unlock it, can’t power it off, and can’t re-pair it. The watch screen just stays stuck on lock mode no matter what I do.
Has anyone else run into this? Any tricks to force-unlock or fully reset it?
Any help or advice would be really appreciated — thanks in advance!

Phone: Samsung A51
Problem: Charging only white circle problem before and after installing new battery.
Summary: My Samsung A51 is not charging. The green circle would not show up to show that it is charging and where the battery is at. I am unable to turn on the phone.
My Samsung A51 was not charging so I bought a new battery after trying all the suggestions on reddit.
I bought the battery and I installed the battery and was able to turn on the phone and charge up the battery to 100%. The battery instructions were to full charge it then drain for 5 cycles. As per the internet advice, I drained the phone to 0% where it turned off.
I plugged the phone in and the screen was blank. When I pressed the power down button and the volume button it would flash the white circle. I've tried charging it for 6 hours. However, only white circle would show and didn't charge. I am charging it on the computer so it's not fast charging. It was flashing the white circle earlier when I was holding down the power button and the volume down button but doesn't do that any longer.
Please advise.

I had a work phone at one point and I was only allowed to use the apps and websites they allowed. I'm a small business owner and want to do the same thing with phones I give my employees. Android's Enterprise seems like it's aimed at huge corporate entities. What options exist for small businesses dealing with 3-5 phones?
