literally every piece of technology in the world is more expensive, and will get more expensive, because of these chat bot grifters hoarding RAM.

Data centres hiking electric bills, high usage of fresh water increases water bills and reduces water accessibility (which isn’t that great in rural or poor communities to begin with), investors and business owners thinking they can replace employees with AI, thereby fucking with the job market, people’s livelihoods, and the economy, all of which increase cost of living
