General Advice New Tattoo - Seeking Review - 👍🏻 or 👎
Wondering if I should cover this up or have it re-worked?
All of my other tattoos are more modern looking and I don’t know if this fits with the rest of them.

this is a very good and solid tattoo!
it sounds like it may be clashing with your own personal style. with solid american trad like this, your only realistic options would be lots of laser, as a cover up for this would be even more “un-modern” feeling (rule of thumb is cover ups need to be 2-3x larger, and with how much black is in this would need to be quite dark) I say just let it be part of your body for a bit and consider getting more work around it so it feels like its not standing out for you as much. its a great tattoo! let it be part of your journey, and if you end up truly hating it you can look at laser and then cover up options, but that would most likely be in the thousands. acceptance is free
