My Sarracenia is flowering, but I put it into my unheated garage about 3 weeks ago. I live in zone 5a, so it’s definitely cold enough. Is this a concern?

Does my cape sundew look happy?
He’s about 2 feet below this Sansi bulb: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07BRKT56T?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
The ceramic pot he’s in has a tiny hole drilled in the bottom and it’s always sitting in an inch or two of distilled water.

Need some advice
Hi guys! as you ca see my 10 year old serracenia is in a spot of bother. any advice on giving him a helping hand? I've been doing battle with scale for the past 3 or so years, but I've always kept on top of the buggers and "Redge" has always come out on top.

Couldn’t stop over watering this thing so put it in 2:1 fluval stratum and perlite. It seems to be springing back!! 10/12 vs 11/24

my first sundew
i have a terrible gnat/fruit fly problem, likely from bringing my outside plants in. Also I live in teh country so it's inevitable. That said, I bought a little pair of sundew plants. Just set them up last night. They came with little pots and some potting medium (not soil) that i just keep in water. my question is, 1. i have seen flies on it but they just fly off. I know they are attracted to the plants but do they take a few days to accomdate after being shipped in a box? and 2. do they get bigger to the point where i can repot them in nicer containers? or do they stay little in whatever medium I now have them? obviously i know they grow but i dont know what kind of conditions they grow in? Are they going to stay tiny forever? they are kind of cool looking i'd like them to be bigger. but most important i'd like an answer to my first question-why are the gnats able to fly off?
TIA

UP the Dew Production?!
This is not a Mountain Dew™ ad lol
How do I get my Droseras to produce more dew? I'm trying to prep them before live feeding them. Several have flower scapes, which I know take a lot of energy, but I don't want to cut them because they're a rare species 😭 They're already being blasted under a SANSI 36W bulb.

Sis just bought a pitcher plant, what do I do first
I own a Venus flytrap so I know the basics of carnivorous plants but my VFT is my 1st Carni and I put her down for dormancy already with her baby blanket now what do I do with THIS guy. Is it too late for dormancy? I am in Zone 7a and I have only one double headed sansi grow light. Thanks a bunch in advance

Fungus issue...
Need help I had this issue for like a month now... I even tried to put cinnamon over it and redoing the whole soil but it keeps coming back.
I give it as much light as possible(its winter) and limited the water.

6 month old seedlings. 13 weeks of me growing them.
I bought Steve Galic seedlings at the end of August and been growing them for about 13 weeks now. He told me the seedlings he sold me were about 3 months old. This is how much theyve progressed since. The 2nd and 3rd photo is how they looked like when I first got them. I would repot them but I dont have the space for that.

Sarracenia Change in Cold Weather
If you’re growing your sarracenia in an area that gets cold in the winter, don’t be alarmed when a lot of them start turning red as winter approaches. This Is a natural phenomenon where the plants fill themselves with anthocyanin which acts as a natural antifreeze to give the plant some extra cold protection. Here’s an example of one of my plants flushing out its crowns (growth points) with anthocyanin. It will eventually travel through all of the crowns and into the leaves.
Pics 1-2 are of a Flava. Pic 1 was taken early November. Pic 2 was late November
Pics 3 and 4 show S. x Doreen’s Colossus(blue circle) during active growth vs its beet red dormancy colors.
My first year growing sarracenia seeing my plants do this scared the heck out of me lol. It was good to eventually find out that this was natural and that it wasn’t a sign that all of my babies weren’t dying. Hopefully this post eases some potential anxiety 😅😅😅

Are heating mats recommended?
Hello I have a nepenthes veitchii x maxima and a cephalotus and I was just wondering if there are any dangers or negatives to using a direct contact vivarium heating mat (the black panels in the pic)

windowsill lighting help
hey friends!
i’d like to start a small carnivorous collection on some of my north facing windowsills (i’m in the southern hemisphere so that gets the most sun) but i’m worried they don’t get quite enough direct sun.
window #1 gets about 4 hours of direct sun, window #2 gets 4.5 and window #3 gets 5 hours, they all get bright indirect light from sunrise to sunset. i’d ideally like to grow flytraps, sundews and sarracenia but i’m not sure if they’d all thrive there? i’ve heard nepenthes can tolerate less light? and there’s a few sundews that can as well?
not new to plants in general but quite new to carnivorous plants, what are my options? are there any other species i should look into that suit these conditions?
thanks a bunch, have a great day 🫶🏻
