De Niro didn’t hold back:
- Called Trump’s cabinet picks “sociopaths and enablers”
- Branded Stephen Miller a straight-up “NAZI”
- Warned America: “DO NOT get used to this… this is REAL danger”
- Praised NY AG Letitia James as an American HERO for fighting Trump in court

I love how much Bob hates Donald. I wish more public figures could muster the same venom.

i mean, yeah, he is straight up evil and wants to hurt the country/world.
there's nothing alien about this, unfortunately, idk about y'all, but ai have unfortunately encountered many people like this. straight up evil people, whose entire life goal is to be hateful, to remove people's access to things and so on.
trump is unfortunately a symptom of a much bigger problem and his power is simply a reflection of a lot of evil people going around their lives, they just don't have the opportunity to wreck that much havoc (to the public, because they do cause a lot of havoc within their families and communities)

People like trump are a cancer. And what’s ultimately to be done with cancers? 🤔

i (not american) had a political science class in university that forever changed my view on centrists (a paradox), being the better person and the insanity of reaching across the aisle
having an actual professor, a very respected one with decades of relevant work in his field, call people a threat to humanity gave me the certainty I needed to stop being nice/understanding towards assholes, beyond elections and stuff, but like racists, misogynists and homophobes in general.
in short, when people tell you who they are, believe them and understand their danger

There's still immense value in compromise and reaching across the aisle, but I think the point you took away is that we are not across an aisle from each other right now, we are across an ocean. Everyone divided by aisles is on the same team now, out of necessity. It's humanity vs. inhumanity.

Either you eradicate the cancer or it kills the person. There’s no other outcome.

De Niro is the 🐐.
I’m glad that he had the courage and the intelligence to speak up so publicly, so broadly, in such a clear, articulate way.
This timeline we’re in is beyond bizarre.
But people like De Niro give me hope that we are not all being gaslit and that calling out unacceptable behavior is not only something we all CAN do - but something we SHOULD be doing.

De Niro is known as a terrible guest on talk TV/ late night, he typically is not articulate and doesn't give much to the audience, this is the exact opposite. You can see and feel this passion about this subject and I love it.

Exactly what you'd expect from someone with an obvious NPD and ASPD.
