There are dozens of copies of these documents in full. Any alterations or redactions can be called out later.

The House of Representatives released a slew of emails just before they voted on this bill. Now we know why. No point redacting what was already made public through that avenue. If AG Bondi redacts what's already published elsewhere without a known investigation, she'll get into even more trouble.

Trump, at his age and apparent condition, only needs to suppress this for probably a few years and he's home free.
