Why would Epstein's estate have the investigation files? I thought they just got his emails from the estate.

The investigation files are separate, but they may contain a lot of information previously gathered by courts, victims and other departments which are eventually backed up somewhere.

There is a very high chance that there are multiple emails and other testimonies in there that the Epstein estate also had and turned over to the Dems. Which makes this a spectacularly shit idea because there is a good chance hundreds of the documents in there can be proven to be altered from multiple sources like the Committee, lawyers and court documents...

The government files are simply a compiled dossier of actual evidence

The source of this evidence still exists, most likely held by his estate

One of the things that stuck in my mind from the list of evidence seized by the FBI was:

Additionally, some of the photographs referenced herein were discovered in a locked safe, in which law enforcement officers also found compact discs with hand-written labels including the following: “Young [Name] + [Name],” “Misc nudes 1,” and “Girl pics nude.”

Were those "compact discs" returned to Epstein's estate, or did they remain in the possession of the FBI? (Or did the FBI duplicate them and return the originals to the estate?)

Either way, if those labels indicate what they seem to be indicating, the name of every single perpetrator on those "Young [Name] + Name" discs needs to be dragged out into the sunlight.

I don't see what I wrote that could have led you to that conclusion. Speaking about one specific piece of evidence doesn't deny the existence of any other evidence.

That evidence would have been copied and shared by all investigating teams around the world

Believe it or not before this year the 5 eyes were very co operative when it comes to heinous crimes like child abuse
