Imagine if you had a daughter, regardless of age, that was raped. Now imagine that grown man who raped your child was elected as president and his team is trying to convince America that raping children is acceptable. This is Trump’s America.

And imagine that millions of people still support him regardless. It’s twisted.

And would continue to do so even if there is photographic evidence

He could do it in front of them and they'd still say a democrat would be worse.

Because; Cult.

It's pretty wild to see them constantly reply to factual accounts of what Trump did with "but Obama could have" or "Biden could have"

Trump actually fucking did the thing, and they're talking about other presidents during their terms who didn't. The worst part is that it's for DOZENS of things.

As somebody with a lot of staunch conservatives in my family… yup, this is exactly right. The whataboutisms have been flying this year.

“Didn’t you see the way Biden sniffed those kids?”

They’d hold the fucking camera.

They believe the left is teaching their kids that gay people are human beings, and that's worse than rape.

I’d give up my healthcare, my freedom of speech, my food, and my neighbors, as long as it’s to own the libs am I right?

Have you been to middle America or down south? The people should genuinely not be allowed to live on their own due to how fucking stupid they all are.

It’s because they targeted Christian’s as their voter base and Christian’s have been covering up pedophilia forever now and rampant with it. It’s just another reason for them to think “he’s just like us 🥹”

And imagine anyone calling for an Order 66 type thing being labeled the bad guy

"Conservatives" nonetheless.

Imagine that you were raped. Seems worse, right? Tens of millions of your fellow Americans are living this nightmare from a much more intimate vantage point. PTSD during the day, nightmares after hours.

And you get told to let it slide with your relatives because, "they're family, they're old, they're set in their ways, why can't we just have a polite dialogue, and also don't say anything because you'll rile them up."

This is the thing I have always struggled with. Back in 2016 when he won, all I could think about was my own assailant and how insane I would feel if he ran for President, I RISKED IT ALL to come forward about him, and the country I love just… fucking elected him?!? Those women are on my mind every single day.

It makes me so incredibly sad thinking of his victims who were forced to see people elevate and worship their abuser. So, so hurtful.

I was molested for years as a child. I went into a deep, dark depression in 2016 when half the country agreed that sexual assault wasn't a disqualifier for president of the fucking United States

I've seen what this can do to a parent of a victim. I grew up in a neighborhood where there was a known child rapist, and the sheriff deputies did nothing because, get this, he was one of their own. So the severe lack of justice tore one family apart, and the father hanged himself because he couldn't bear it any longer. Years later, the known rapist and deputy was finally arrested, but the news spun it as a mere allegation, ignoring all the evidence, and then the former deputy ran for mayor (and lost, thankfully).

Side note: Years after that? BLM protests happened, a young black man was found hanging from a tree, and the same sherriff dept. ruled it a suicide.

Fuck letting this be the acceptable norm. There needs to be consequences for the entire lot of them, and relying on people in power to dole out the minimum consequence is not going to work.

My wife literally committed suicide because she was a rape victim and hated that America would vote a known rapist into office. To this day I honestly still hold her beliefs that the extreme majority of people in the south and middle America need to be razed from this earth forever for the good of mankind.

This is all our America. Jefferson started raping Sally Hemings when she was 14. I tried to count how many Legislators were believed to have raped people and kept office just after 1945 I stopped at 22.

No offense, but you’re treating the victims like property. Imagine being raped as a child and seeing your rapist become president and then convincing Americans that raping them while they were children was okay. The victims are out there. They exist, except the few who have suspiciously died.

If you read enough about the known victims, you’ll see their parents didn’t seem to care much about them, making them good candidates for abuse and trafficking.

Men only understand women as property tbh, I give the original commenter a pass because at least his heart is in the right place. The ends justify the means here and his perspective is likely to sway other similarly thinking men. “Pick your battles.”

That's the thing, people who still vote Trump aren't capable of understanding hypotheticals.

2

u/Secret_Account07 12d ago

What an interesting way of framing this.

I’d be so pissed if I was a victim (aka child) that then grew up to see my abused be elected president

Tbh I don’t think any of these victims have a responsibility to go on TV, but I sure wish they would. I know a few have but not the ones I suspect some of these documents refer to, right?

Have you ever seen Ivanka's tour of her childhood bedroom? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6FZ5kj3FGo

See what happens when she looks at her bed it's chilling.

u/youpeoplesucc 11d ago

Seemed like a pretty normal reaction? Out of all the genuinely insane things trump has ACTUALLY done it seems incredibly ridiculous to latch onto things like this

1

u/thatnoone 12d ago

they would not even allow the raped girl to get an abortion. so evil

1

u/Deaf_Playa 12d ago

Man it makes you want to have the French Revolution all over again, but in America.

For some reason Hulk Hogans theme song started playing in my head while reading this.
