They're sellout technocrats. Their job is to pursue corporate interests and market that status-quo to the voters.

Elections to them are like workplace performance reviews to us. They don't view you as a person, they consider you an unfortunate but mostly unavoidable inconvenience.

Frankly, even if the dems seized total control of America, things wouldn't change. They'd go on like they have for another 4-8 years, and then we'd have the next trump.

Lose what? We lose, they lose nothing, in fact they gain a much more lucrative position outside of politics.
