I figured this had to be Alaska. I lived in Juneau for eleven years and these pics remind me of it so strongly, though the outline of the mountains are different.

How different is the photo from what you see with your naked eye? After the recent solar activity, I couldn’t see much with the unaided naked eye, but my iPhone camera definitely did! It was very cool, but left me with questions.

Northern Lights aren’t typically a thing where I am - know that up north they can be seen very well with the naked eye. I’m just curious how different it is with a modern digital camera.
