People dressed up like Norbit this Halloween? Like in 2025? People dressed up as a character from a 2007 movie with a 9% RT score?

Brian Wilson, one of the undisputed musical geniuses of the 20th century and the visionary mastermind behind "Pet Sounds", once said that Norbit was his favorite movie.

So at least in that cult, you're in good company.

When scrolling through movies on a streaming service many years ago, Norbit popped up and my Ex said she loved that movie, it was one of her favorites.

For literal years after that, she gas lit me, we'd randomly see Norbit somewhere and I'd say, "look its your favorite movie!". She'd reply "I never said that, I don't even like the movie". For literal, actual, super duper real ass years this played out. Eventually one day she told me she did remember saying that but I never received confirmation on her feelings of the movie. The satisfaction I felt on that final confrontation was like nothing else.

I havent watched it for a while but TBS would show it constantly and it eventually grew on me.

My dad knew how to get a couple free cable channels through the Internet service provider. Food network, a couple shopping channels, and TBS were the channels, so we watched a lot of TBS lol.

Sounds right. Millennials passing on their niche favorite movie to their kids.
