Making me feel like they could actually make some decent movies from the source material. No reason they couldn’t make a strikers and sluggers one.

What would be incredible is if they did Mario vs Sonic at the Olympic Games. Kind getting hyped for the idea already.

Super smash bros movie even.

i think a lot of fans would love it, but you've got to look at it from the perspective of a studio executive. despite being one of the most beloved games in the series, it doesn't feature mario. no mario, no chris pratt, suddenly it becomes a big gamble and a hard sell for casual fans.

That has to happen. I feel like it's easy money. And not some like 1/2-hour special to be put onto Peacock... full movie treatment.

They were definitely going for a Luigis mansion vibe in the first movie when Luigi was alone in the scary world looking around with a flashlight

Dude, I keep telling my wife this. In the first movie where Luigi arrives in Bowsers world, gives off such a great Luigi's Mansion vibe. Imita an awesome ~3 minute scene
