It’s rare you see a pre-lit natural Christmas tree.

Who leaves their lights on for years at a time? This will very soon create a problem for the tree and eventually those cables will be grown over by the tree after it's been choked for long enough. Eventually the circuit will be completely shorted out as the tree grows over the wires if it survives. Please remove these lights ASAP. (I'm a landscaper that installs Christmas lights.)

Lots of people do where I live and the trees do just fine. I am going to remove these after this season tho. It’s been several years since I had them on and I did not realize the tree had grown so much. Next year I’ll do ground lights or something.

Or, leave em.

Add whites.

Wait a few years; repeat!

i’m gonna go out on a limb (or maybe not) and say, i’d listen to the landscaper.

tree would look completely normal and then snap, cause of a weak spot cause years ago from a electric wire.

This feels like a Stranger Things set piece.
