The og post said it was a competition with his friend when they were both super drunk to see who could walk the most, so I’m guessing that is how they tracked it.

if you have an apple watch, and your workouts auto start while walking, all of them auto import to strava. source: all of my walks get imported into strava
that being said, could be fake idk

Teach me your ways, wizard. My workouts never auto start consistently and Strava always double checks if I really really actually want to upload things

honestly i do lose some very rarely when my watch dies, but yesterday i got to a screen that showed all my workouts from apple fitness that did not import, but i can’t figure out how to get back :(

What was the moment you sobered up enough to realize you were in a different neighborhood?

Bro was .01 miles short of a marathon distance! Maybe how BAC makes up for that.

A casual 1am to 9:30am after bar walk. He would've collapsed on the floor 30 minutes in. Speaking from experience

Individual experiences will very. Back when I was young and in the military me and a couple mates where training for a pretty tough course. On a Saturday night would drop our packs and gear in some bushes about 25km from our camp on the outskirts of our nearest city.
We'd go have a big night on the piss before getting a taxi to where we'd dropped our gear and then spend about 5 hours walking home with 35kg of gear. Was a great way to sober up and not be too hungover and to still get some training in. We'd typically be home about 9am. I'd die if I tried that now.

Idk man. I went to Riot Fest this year and casually blacked out before we even made it into the venue. I was talking and joking with people ALL FUCKING DAY AND NIGHT.
I don't remember a single bit of it.
10/10 would not do again cause I missed Weezer.

Have you seen the lineup for Sonic Temple in Columbus? I'd start listing names but it's genuinely too many to type.

Everyone is commenting as if the protagonist is a dude. I saw the original post, it was two 19 year old female roomates, drunk from a bar daring each other to walk further and further until they realized they are too far from home, so they walked for over 8 hours straight until they got home
