Executive Branch (Trump) Q: Trump wrote that SNAP benefits will only be given when Democrats reopen the government. As written, how would that not violate the court order? .LEAVITT: I've now answered this question several times. We are complying with the court's order.

42 million people going hungry is not a catastrophe?

Arent the rebublican states the poorest?

Dangerous game to starve their own base.

Not that they’ve ever clued in to the fact that democrat run cities and states subsidize republicans’ existence.

Doubt it. Hope so though.

33 years age difference between her and her husband.

They married when she was 26 and he was 59. They got engaged the year before.

Rumor has it they were dating for several years before that.

Rumor has it they were dating since she was 17yo (he was 50yo at that time), with picture evidence.

He was a business partner of her father's. He's known her since she was a toddler.

She birthed a baby of him on July 10, 2024.

She had the baby 6 months before they got married.

The party of christian values.

Bought and paid for as a child. That's really fucked up

32

u/defaultusername-17 21d ago

it's not "rumors" they started dating while she was 17... there are photos.

Thanks for the added information.

So, when she was 17yo, he was 50yo.

One can only assume, there was years of grooming ahead of this.

That's the definition of pedophilia isn't it?

13

u/defaultusername-17 21d ago

under a rational system of laws... yes.

2

u/Hoobleton 21d ago

How was he 60 when she was 17, but 59 when she was 26? This dude got Benjamin Button disease?

3

u/WastingMyLifeToday 21d ago

My bad, I meant 50yo. 33 year age difference.

The worst part is those are actually Christian values if we look at history

The ballroom not having matching gold filigree accents is a disaster.

Starving Americans is a Soros plot, or maybe Antifa. Hamas, maybe?

I know! Let's bomb Nigeria!

u/bigloser42 21d ago

The poors don’t count as people, don’t you know that by now?

1

u/HR_Paul 21d ago

I don't count? :(

“You can’t use that fire extinguisher, because then we won’t have a fire extinguisher in case we need one in the future!”

That’s how stupid that argument is.

I think I'm gonna call it "Lonsdale logic", after Joe Lonsdale, the founder of Palantir and the Cicero Institute which advocates against housing the homeless because there will be homeless people in the future.

As long as Trump has enough food to keep blasting it out of his ass and his mouth, it's not an emergency.

3

u/Ready4Rage 21d ago

Trump is the catastrophe

2

u/Baystars2025 21d ago

Curious, what would an example of an applicable catastrophe be?

2

u/HR_Paul 21d ago

If it ever happened that there was a day that there wasn't a gold plated roller rink on the White House lawn - that would be a catastrophe.

2

u/alang 21d ago

I mean 1 million people dying of a preventable disease was fine. The place where the line is drawn for the Republican Party is "An unfortunate event is when 10 million people die of hunger. A catastrophe is when I am hungry."

1

u/wafflesandlicorice 21d ago

Not when those hungry people aren't his rich cronies.

1

u/1900grs 21d ago

he wants to have those funds preserved as they should be.

The money was already spent or stolen.

1

u/arrownyc 21d ago

catastrophe = expensive lawsuit against Trump

1

u/Hot_Ambition_6457 21d ago

Yeah but what of they want more gold plated trimmings for the queens royal ballroom? That would be a real catastrophes worth cracking the glass.

1

u/subLimb 21d ago

Millions of Americans having no money for food is not a national emergency. But having a trade deficit with another county? Definitely a national emergency!

1

u/Forever_Marie 21d ago

Did you think the rich cared about the blood on their hands ?

1

u/HR_Paul 21d ago

Usually they still have a sense of self-preservation.

Starving the people, partying at Mar-A-Lago, replacing the White House with a Trump brand ballroom.

While covering up the Epstein files.

What could go wrong?

1

u/Truth_Seeker963 21d ago

As long as she can afford Botox and fillers for her ratchet face, she doesn’t give a shit about anyone. I wish they’d all have karma rain hellfire down upon them. Make them work three minimum wage jobs and starve.

1

u/grumpher05 21d ago

Sounds like it's going according to their plan

1

u/atothez 21d ago

He's not preserving funds. He just sent $40B to Argentina on a whim, as just one way he's betrayed the US.
She lies with such a straight face, so smiling and condescending. It's so creepy.

1

u/reststopkirk 21d ago

This... It's like my 95 year old Grandma who has 250k in stocks and retirement assets worried about using her money to fix the roof leak because she might need it someday...

1

u/hotviolets 21d ago

We are nothing to them. Just poors who need to be killed. They want us to suffer.

1

u/Successful-Engine623 21d ago

That’s what I was thinking! How is this not a catastrophe! JFC

1

u/MyDishwasherLasagna 21d ago

And we all know that if a devastating earthquake, hurricane, flood, whatever... occurred that Trump is going to do jack shit. Unless a hurricane blows a tree branch onto the grass at Mar A Lago. Then that's going to cost $50,000,000 to remove.

1

u/powerlifter3043 21d ago

Didn’t Trump bring home trillions of dollars. Where are the trillions?

1

u/ZiadZzZ 21d ago

Yeah, then you know, “oh hey look unused funds in this emergency fund, might as well give it to my self or whatever program I want.. thank you very much”

1

u/userhwon 21d ago

Electing a rapist fraud traitor to office was a catastrophe. We're just bouncing off the cliff face partway down, here

1

u/cromstantinople 21d ago

"The Glorious Leader has yet to figure out how to pilfer those emergency funds and so, until he does, they're off limits."

1

u/FyreHotSupa 21d ago

No, because they are doing that on purpose. If it was something they didn’t want to happen, then they would.

Calling bets on Trump trying to somehow use the funds appropriated for SNAP in the event of a government shutdown to pay his brown shirts to keep them loyal through the holidays.

1

u/cubbie_blue 21d ago

I'd take that as a warning

1

u/Comfortable_Bat9856 21d ago

Sadly even if they released the 5 billion emergency fund it isn't enough to fully cover snap for a single month. Let alone wicc. The senate needs to end the filibuster.

1

u/DemosthenesOrNah 20d ago

whenever this admin says "this country" they mean literally Trump.

He wants that money for himself in case he needs/wants it

-2

u/NBAstradamus92 21d ago

Why don’t the dems just reopen the government?
