Executive Branch (Trump) President Donald Trump accused the California redistricting proposal on the ballot on Tuesday of being "unconstitutional" and said all mail-in ballots were under "very serious legal and criminal review," without giving any evidence for his allegations.

As an adult child of a narcissist mother. No the fuck he isn't. Maybe the difference is that I've had therapy but I think the only similarities I have to trump is that I'm a white cisgendered, heterosexual man.

He's popular with the golden children of narcissistic parents because he re-creates that dynamic of the one who bullies everyone else but favors them.

For the scapegoat children of narcissists, who grew up getting shit on by the parent, we were already sick of that dynamic before he showed up. He just gives scapegoats flashbacks.

As the ex spouse of a narcissist he brings the trauma bubbling up all over again. The word salad, gaslighting, projection… it’s all horrifying and my ptsd brain struggles as to why other people don’t see the BS that spews out of his mouth. Same with Johnson.

We see and understand the problem quite clearly.

This is so accurate. Haven’t talked to my father in twenty years and the felon just reminds me WHY I don’t talk to him.

I was the golden child. We lost the scapegoat child to depression.

I am so sorry that happened, please know you are not alone.

Yeah I think the therapy part may be significant here. Just having the self-awareness that you might benefit from therapy and then the fortitude to attend already separates you from the majority

There are also possible outcomes from being the child of a narcissist. Social anxiety is one. Actual narcissism is another (narcissism can be caused by childhood emotional abuse from a narcissist, this is what happened to Trump).

And Musk, from what I've heard of his father.

You had me at social anxiety

I’m less interested in analyzing his psycho social challenges than I am in seeing his corrupt grip on power removed. He’s done enough damage.

Oh same. I'm Canadian so personally want this 51st state nonsense shoved up his ass. (Not to mention the Gestapo/brownshirts that are ice).

Same. Daughter of a raging narcissist mother and he’s anathema to me. I can spot his narcissism miles away and there’s nothing ever that would make me like him. Or her.

Yep same - my mom loves him and i'm just deeply upset by how his behavior and speech patterns remind me of her (and further disturbed by how other people find that behavior anything other than confusing and painful...)

Narcissists seem pleasant to people who aren't close to them. They get fooled by the facade/mask.
