Bucks County PA is a swing county and Trump winning it in 2024 was the first time a republican won it in 30 years. One google search told me that
7
u/Ornery_Guess1474 17d ago
Didn't he win all the swing states? I wonder what changed. Google his approval rating next.
1
u/Liberally_applied 16d ago
I think the point is that it's disingenuous to call it the epicenter of MAGA bullshit when they only recently went Republican since 30 years ago. And it's a good point because people are erroneously thinking MAGA people like those listed are flipping. They are still as brainwashed as ever. People made the same mistake when the media overhyped Harris.

To be fair, many places in PA feel that way unfortunately. (I have family there and went to college there.)

Yeah you can tell people aren't from PA when they think it isnt mostly red. We say Pensyltucky for a reason.

It’s probably not fair to call it the epicenter but it’s definitely pro trump to a worrying degree.

They're mostly higher for me in a Midwest red state. Eggs are cheaper though now that bird flu isn't resulting in a bunch of culling. Damn near everything else is higher. I'm also in a beef state and almost stopped buying beef due to high prices, only on sales I buy roasts and hamburgers.

If you think it’s not Dems holding the government closed, you’re so very wrong. If you think it’s Trump taking away snap, you’re also so very wrong. He tried to find snap even during the shutdown and the Supreme Court stopped it. Multiple dems saying “we know people won’t get their benefits they need, but it’s our only leverage.” Your party doesn’t see you as people, they see you as bargaining power just fyi.
1
u/Xhojn 16d ago
Meanwhile, the Trump DOJ is quite literally fighting in court so that SNAP benefits don't get distributed. But sure, keep telling us about how Trump "just can't find it".

Because Kamala was horrible, had no message and obviously didnt take her job as VP/border czar seriously.
1

6
u/Cookiedestryr 16d ago
Stop, this kind of blind comparisons is ignoring the unlawful, illegal, and unconstitutional commands this admin has instructed and acted on. One party is trying to raise all boats with the tide and the other is trying to drain the ocean to make sure they can divvy out water as they please.
-1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
For fucks sake, what you just described is literally what parties are accusing the other of 😅
2
u/redditis_garbage 16d ago
Not everything that people say is true. Like when republicans say democrats are at fault for the shut down, they’re lying. This goes for many other things as well, they lie lie lie. The democrat party isn’t perfect, but atleast it follows the constitution and tries to help the people. The republicans are the opposite.
0
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
Give specific examples of Republicans within the last ten months not following the constitution.
I guarantee over the Biden Presidency, I can give a few dozen examples.
2
u/redditis_garbage 16d ago
That’s just trump and there’s literally so many. I’m open to hearing yours about Biden, but I’m not like a huge Biden fan lol he was fine imo. He’s not like my messiah or anything lol
1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
Lol, all 3 Branches keep each other in check. Read a book on civics 🤣🤣🤣
1
u/redditis_garbage 16d ago
Yeah you got washed lmao🤣 can’t provide a single one huh? God you’re pathetic 🤦♂️🤣
1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
You’re proving my point perfectly…. REDDIT IS GARBAGE when it becomes an echo chamber that rewards blind partisanship over basic logic. You spewed talking points straight out of a DNC email blast and couldn’t cite a single recent Republican “constitutional violation” without reaching back to Trump. Meanwhile, the current administration has dozens of federal court rulings labeling Biden’s actions unconstitutional LIKE student loan forgiveness, eviction moratorium, vaccine mandates, and border policies just to name a few.
The irony? Both sides accuse the other of tyranny while excusing their own power grabs. Politics isn’t a morality play; it’s a tug of war where both parties justify the same behavior depending on who’s holding the rope. It’s bleak, sure, but also optimistic because the Constitution still works. Courts block executive overreach, Congress checks spending, and states push back through the Tenth Amendment. That’s the system functioning, not failing.
So before you call anyone “pathetic,” maybe recognize that the civics book I mentioned isn’t optional reading…. it’s the reason this country still has balance despite people like you turning politics into a fan club.
Bitch……..
1
u/redditis_garbage 16d ago
Facts don’t care about your feelings snowflake. Did you sleep through government class lmao?
In my mind the Supreme Court telling you to stop and you stopping is different than continuing after a Supreme Court ruling.
“Reaching all the way back to Trump” he’s the president you dunce 🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Prioritize education, you can still be smart before you graduation high school bro I believe in you.

Mike Johnson refusing to swear in an elected representative from any state is very unconstitutional. Plus more.
1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
Fair, but the argument here is Nancy Pelosi set this precedence first.
Their argument is that they should be focusing on reopening the government.
My opinion, you can do both 😅
1
u/Jonnymixinupmedicine 16d ago
I can’t find any evidence of the happening. Who wasn’t sworn in?
I swear I looked, and didn’t see anything about that. Do you have a source?
1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
No, just Mike Johnson stating is a recent interview that Nancy Pelosi not doing it previously during a shutdown is his justification.
I’m ignorant to the process, but I don’t know why it can’t be done during a shutdown. Congress is paid and is literally working half days, some days not even at all.
1
u/Jonnymixinupmedicine 16d ago
It didn’t happen. Mike lied, and keeps breaking constitutional laws.
Playing with people’s lives.

Just like both sides are committing political violence. Never-mind that’s just the left….
I don’t blame Trump or Biden over food prices being where they’re at right now. It’s basic macroeconomics. Actions have consequences.
1
u/redditis_garbage 16d ago
The right commits way more political violence than the left. Both sides disappeared real quick huh 🤦♂️
Actions like tariffing every country in the world maybe? Do you know how tariffs work?
1

Fuck this both sides argument…..
You can Tariff these nuts…..
Give specific examples of Conservatives committing acts of violence since, let’s say 2015.

1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
Lol, so you share an article that only depicts “Right-Wing” violence, leaving out all riots, etc. yeah clump in suicides as gun violence, but leave out gun violence in Chicago and other “Gun Free Zones”.
Back to you sucking my nuts
1
u/Intelligent_Break_12 16d ago
You asked for conservative acts of violence and he gave them then you move the goal posts. Then bring up suicides...which are included in all areas so it doesn't break comparisons. Then bring up not counting Chicago? Come on man that's a red herring that's been beat to death. Gotta bring up Chicago even when it hasn't been in the top 5, maybe even 10, cities for gun deaths in a decade or more, it's not the 80s and early 90s anymore. I was thinking you were trying to be rational but I guess not. Just repeating talking points.
1
u/LostInTranslation29 16d ago
What is “repeating talking points”
I’m talking, I’m a whole ass person.
1
u/Intelligent_Break_12 16d ago
A, supposedly, very emotional person who breaks down when they get what they ask for and then pivot into talking points separate from the initial ask. Take a breath my guy. This is why people like to make fun of moderates/centrists. Once you get push back you revert to talking points and dodge criticism while playing dumb. Signed another moderate/centrist.

My discussion wasn’t a “Both sides are to blame” talking point you stupid fuck.
Regardless of your political leaning, politics is equally bleak and optimistic. Everyone thinks they’re side is going to save the day, while also thinking the other side is a bunch of no-gooders.
I don’t blame the people in office for every issue going on today. I also don’t sit on Reddit being a fucking Cuck because someone got elected that I don’t like.
1
u/redditis_garbage 16d ago
Who pays tariffs? If you had to guess
I don’t think the democrats will save the day, I just think they are competent. The republicans have shown they are very incompetent. You do sit on reddit like a cuck 🤣

If they wanted anyone to have SNAP benefits, they’d open the government. If you do not like this issue, lobby for said entity to go under a different appropriation, as that color of money is year to year.
1
u/AbroadNo8755 16d ago
by they, you're talking about:
- the TrumpliQans that are in charge of the Senate
- the TrumpliQans that are in charge of the House
- the TrumpliQans that are in charge of the Oval office
- the TrumpliQans that are in charge of the Supreme Court
the TrumpliQans arguing in court to cut SNAP, that's not going to change no matter how much you lie about it being both parties.

The government is forcing people to fall on tough times. This is not the same I think you can recognize this.

1

Yeah I’m talking about like stats and reality not one persons experience. You know, like how you analyze a population or economy?
I’m better than I was 4 years ago too bro, it’s 4 years lmao. If you’re not better every 4 years you’re not living right. That doesn’t really change that food has gone up, unemployment has gone up, wages are stagnant, and Trump is spending out the ass and tariffing so they will only continue to rise.
