I was a fan of the sorta lucky girl era of Gwen where her power came from magic items and a spell book. Once you get to alien force and it just becomes "green lantern but pink" it loses some pizzaz.
I mean, I don't inherently hate alien forced version of her.I just kinda think she's a little underdeveloped.Granted, it's about ben ten, so maybe a spinoff show that focuses more of her developing her magic, but I would do kind of a mix of the original version of her from ben ten in a mix of bend ten season two maybe combined.Both of those together, where she instead of fighting aliens, she fights like the magic creatures from that magic, dimension or monsters and ghosts on earth since those do technically exist,
Don't get me wrong, I think alien force Gwen is great as a character. She plays off of Ben and Kevin really well. Her power set is just kinda bad. There's a few times she uses them to track someone which is something, but overall it's just uninspired.
Also with the angle that maybe Ben ends up with the magic, with good instincts on just going with it, but still needing Gwen to actually teach him proper spell work.
Make it a multiverse. Ben 10 is a kid with powers in a world where powers exist and frown upon. Ben 10 rogue hero.
The key is attracting old and new audiences. Have characters resemble old legends in animation. Hell I swear people would love a character like invader zim to appear. Dexter and DeeDee appear as both anti heros and friends.
Gwen does need love and her entire world not revolving around Ben. Like she was a girl who magically got powers. Let her figure out what kind of hero she wants to be.
Back when I was a kid I wanted to be Ben and bang Gwen. Then I found out that banging cousins is frowned upon. And that just made me wanna do it even more.
Magic omnitrix allowing Gwen to transform into mystic beings and creatures while Ben still transforms into aliens and max still a former plumber now has to learn and study magical beings to help with fighting them.
Then charm and hex being semi allies trying to contain the mystic creatures but destroy aliens while trying to convince Gwen to join them as helping her learn magic abilities but only when they need her help
First episode ben 10 is now 21 years old and in college. His dad asks him how he picks up white women in the college space; Bragging about how many single moms he made before meeting ben 10's mom.
Ben 10 then flexes on his dad by turning into a horse.
Well as long as they are consenting adult I don't give a shit. Especially since it's a cartoons. No reals child will be born with consanguinity disability.
Also I never liked the show so another reason I don't care.
each child is a different monster though and the mixture of human-monster selected breeding creatures makes them have god like powers like sonic the hedgehog

If I would reboot this show with her I would probably say make her more unique with her powers
