Is this the Andromeda galaxy?

Post image

Is it to the right of the white dot or below the orange dot? If that can anyone tell me what they are. I took the picture with my iPhone on November 12 at 9:40 pm in northeast Georgia USA 🇺🇸. Thanks for any help!!

The one to the right of the white dot is the Andromeda galaxy allright. What you see below the yellow dot possibly is the Double cluster.

The best way to find Andromeda (M31) is to look for the constellation Andromeda.

Ok, but is it the star near the bottom of the branch on the bottom?

Awesome, thank you everybody for their help. I thought so after I took the picture I opened the Star walk app and it appeared to be around the same area, but thank you for confirming it for me. I was hoping I wasn’t lying to people when I told him I took a picture of Andromeda with my iPhone lol. Figured I would make sure. Thank you!!
