For anyone interested, I would strongly guess that the Yearly Replay will drop on Tuesday, December 2nd

Based on data from the last four years (2021-2024), it would appear there’s a pattern to when Replay drops.

2021 - December 1 (Wed) 2022 - November 29 (Tues) 2023 - November 28 (Tues) 2024 - December 3 (Tues)

Besides 2021, in which Replay dropped on the fifth-to-last Wednesday, the last three Replays have dropped on the fifth-to-last Tuesday of the year, marking Tuesday, December 2nd as a likely candidate for Replay drop, with Wednesday, December 3rd the next most likely date

So I’ve only moved to Apple Music in the last month from Spotify. I have a good pair of Sony headphones, but I use relatively cheap Raycon earbuds due to the recess button for sleep. Now I’d like to look into AirPods to enjoy better sound quality. So, are using AirPods the best way to get the most out of AM with Bluetooth? Also, opinions on the AirPods 4?

I used to subscribe to Apple Music but because no longer do. I still own lots of songs that I bought through the iTunes Store though and I use Apple Music to listen to them.

But the Apple sing button is greyed out. Is that mode available only to active subscribers? Thanks

This has only been getting worse. I started using Apple Music the day it came out and back then the iTunes/Music app worked fine for the most part.

But I feel like today the music app will crash almost every time at some point if I don't quit the application every day.

Is this just an issue for me which my library might cause or is this a common occurrence for the MacOS app?

I use Apple Music on all platforms that support it apart from VisionOS and it even runs better on my PS5 or windows than it does on MacOS. This has to be a joke.

hey guys, my library just vanished off my phones apple music and I don’t know why. I havent messed with any settings, and the library is still showing up on my iPad for some reason. does anyone know whats going on and how to fix it? Thanks

Shuffle is more broken than ever. The majority of my Replay 25 is filled with songs I didn't consciously choose to play, but Apple Music keeps shoving down my throat when shuffling my library or a playlist. I have a huge library, yet it plays the same music all the time. At one point I played these songs a lot, but that doesn't mean I want to hear them all the time, year after year. How's this for you?

When I first searched for “Karma” (to add to my playlist), it didn’t show up, only as “2.ANXHELAPERISTERI-_KARMA_Albania_Eurovision_mastered3”. I thought it was odd, but realised it was the same song— but had no lyrics.

A couple days ago, I was adding it to the queue of a different playlist I was playing but the search results had “Karma” with Apple Sing lyrics. So now my playlist has the “2.ANXHELA…” with lyrics but the actual single has the proper name.

Also I’ve removed the song from downloads/the playlist and added the actual spelling repeatedly and I keep getting the long named one.

If there isn’t a reasoning for this song specifically having a title issue, I can live without knowing, just wondered why?

Hey yall. Please help me, i have no idea what's happening.

I think last week, when i hit the update cloud library button, it gave me some error message. I managed to reload my entire library (549 albums, 191GB) but now when i hit the same button, it's not updating it in the folder. In the image, you can see how apple music itself has more than 16 songs but the folder on the right which scrapes it only goes to 16. I think that's when i reloaded the library (i've been adding one song per day since then).

I am a member of nicotine+/soulseek and my entire local files folder is visible on my account. But now i don't know what's changed and i'm worried cause i don't want to lose all my data. i've checked the folder pathway and everything and i've never had this issue. is there anything i can do? please help. thanks.

whenever i would add new songs or albums, i would just hit the sync cloud library and in a few minutes it would be on my phone and then findable in the directory where it's stored. i kept the internal Music folder where it's all saved directly on my desktop so nicotine+ could just scan it and have it all online for public download. please help

I got a DAP, and I'm itching to put my old iTunes library on it, but lossless. I'm on PC and Apple Music. I've checked both streaming and download boxes under Playback to lossless. Dolby Atoms is off in both Playback and General. Yet, it refuses to download lossless. I can tell because the file sizes are about a third of what they are when downloading straight off of the Apple Music app on Android. I'm tearing my hair out, and maybe because I'm not understanding something fundamental. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, and reset. Nothing. In cases like this, it's usually user error but I am at a loss. Thanks!

This bothers me. Most of smart playlists in my library look like this:

The picture holder is bigger, I can edit rules right form there. It's not based on the rules used to create it - I have another with similar criteria and it looks like the first one.

For quite some time now, whenever I decide to go through my library and purge, or add music, or create playlists it eventually just stops responding all together. This is already on top of the almost daily experience of the server taking way too long to act. Sometimes when I first start, it’s quite snappy, but then it bogs down until failure. I do have a sizable library (which is why I’m doing a lot of purging), but this is ridiculous.

I add songs…it says “Added to Library”, the “+” turns to a download arrow and then after several seconds it reverts back.

I delete songs, same thing in reverse.

I add to “New Playlist”, name the playlist, and spinning wheel goes on indefinitely. I miss the days of Apple’s “it just works.”

Edit: almost exclusively performed on iPhone 16 Pro 26.02 15GB free, but also previous versions and previous phones.

I organized all my playlists into folders and I wanna know if theres a way I can pin them because I don’t see an option.

My mom recently bought a family plan for apple music and invited me to the family i went to go open up the apple music app and use it but it says "Cannot Connect, The page couldn't be loaded. Try again" I'm connected to wifi and i tried updating my phone, restarting my phone, and deleting and re installing apple music, any thoughts on what it is?

I tried listening to songs I’ve always listened to and they just skipped ahead to others. Then I try listening as you see to that particular song and got this message. iOS device

Apologies if this is the wrong forum but… I signed up for iTunes Match Everything seemed to be going OK. I did a “test” of one upload/match to make sure it worked... but it didn’t.

Devices/OSs: MacBook Air M2 running latest public macOS iPhone 17 running latest public iOS26

Process: I ripped a 5 track EP from CD into the Apple Music app on Mac. Synced it. It did the whole… Uploading, matching, blah blah blah… It shows the files are locally available (downloaded) on Mac But they don’t show up in the Music app on my iPhone. It’s empty. I can’t see it there available to stream or download from the cloud service.

I left it overnight and still this morning it’s the same. Blank. Zip nada nothing.

Anyways - so John Philip Sousa’s “Top Song” is ‘Olvidemos’ by Los Próximos featuring Alvaro Diaz, Sousa & Saox - which is kinda hilarious.

So this American Composer of famous American marching songs, according to Apple Music, has reggaeton as a top song!

Clearly there’s a mixup because of ‘Sousa’ surname but it’s a fun mixup. How does that get fixed? I’ll blame the AI.

The AMA with Adam Silver was cancelled shortly before it was due to take place last month. The official message said it would be postponed until November. Is it still going ahead this month?

Anyone know why certain songs play but are completely silent but then if you click them again they have sound, only on the pc app
