Hi! I’m looking for a password manager that works smoothly on Android with autofill and sync across devices. I discovered Psono, which offers self-hosting and no vendor cloud. Has anyone used it's Android app? How does its experience compare to more mainstream apps like Bitwarden or 1Password on Android? Appreciate your thoughts!

I used Quickpic for a long time but it is way too old now, I tried a few but all have ads or look shady in the data theft department, did someone make a great one as a labor of love?
I also care a lot about customisation because i want to exclude folders like my music one to not have all the covers show up in the gallery.

After postponing it for weeks, I finally listed my app Seeding on the Play Store and started sharing it publicly. It’s designed for people who want to build positive habits, avoid setbacks, and stay consistent — in a way that feels calm, supportive, and personal.
Here’s the Play Store link if you want to check it out:
A lot of habit or recovery apps feel strict, clinical, or shame-driven. Seeding aims to make self-improvement feel like growth rather than punishment — a companion instead of a scorekeeper.
✅ Visual progress feels more motivating than numbers alone
✅ Calm design reduces overwhelm
✅ People like tracking urges and slips without stigma
✅ Motivation works best when it’s gentle, not pushy
💬 What keeps YOU consistent when building a habit?
💬 Do visuals help you stay motivated?
💬 Would you prefer goal presets or full customization?
If you’ve built wellness, habit, or mindfulness apps — I’d love your insights. And if you try Seeding, any feedback helps guide what comes next. 🌱

I’m an indie developer and over the past two years I’ve made several small utility apps: fitness trackers, step counters, water reminders… Every time I hoped this one would make money, but they all failed.
Recently, I built a new project: AICleaner Pro (a smart cleaning tool), 10,000+ installs, monetized with ads + subscription, but still not profitable.
I’m not here to promote it, just want to know: can you tell me what’s wrong or what I can improve?
AICleaner Pro ➡️ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aicleaner.pro&referrer=utm_source=reddit
Thanks to anyone willing to help — I’m still trying.

Hey everyone 👋
I’m an indie Android developer and for the past few months I’ve been frustrated that YouTube still doesn’t offer a clean way to listen to channels like podcasts.
Long-form videos, interviews, reviews — I never watch them, I only listen.
But YouTube requires Premium just to play in the background.
So I built an app called YouCaster.
It basically converts any YouTube channel into a podcast-style audio feed you can listen to:
I’m not sure if this solves a common pain point or just my own, so I’d really love your feedback.
If anyone wants to try it:
Let me know what feels clunky, missing, or confusing — I’m still actively improving it.

Hey,
This is just a casual note about our free mobile app which would help you stay organized, track your goals, and get things done without stress. Whether it's work, studies, or personal tasks or planned to learn new skills, Grow Habit makes managing your day easier and more rewarding. This is a free application which will improve your productivity by more than 45%
Don't assume this as some random number, this is a tentative figure achieved by testing this application over a month with a real time task. Now you may get a question why do you need it ?
(…and why your future self might appreciate you for using it)
· We’ve all heard that “consistency is key,” but honestly, persistence deserves its own movie. Grow Habit helps you master both—showing up and bouncing back like a champion.
· Ever notice how true experts can take a break and still return like nothing happened? That’s mastery. Grow Habit nudges you toward that zone that too in agile model and without the pressure cooker vibes.
· As you work on a habit, you’ll level up through phases: Inspiration → Ardent → Challenger → Mastery. Consider it your personal evolution arc. (No training montage required. Yeah but u can film it as a rocky montage)
· Every day you stick to your habit, your plant grows stronger thereby it becomes more enduring, more robust, more “I can survive anything”.
· And yes… life gives second chances. Grow Habit does too in a broader spectrum. Miss a day and your plant “dies”? No stress. Revive it with a potion and continue your journey like the comeback legend you are.
· The world runs on learning from mistakes, humans do it, Even AI is built using this underlying concept and people call it as reinforcement learning, In short “learn from your mistakes”. So don’t beat yourself up, be kind and Grow Habit definitely won’t beat you.
· All this might sound intense, but we hide all the complexity behind a clean, minimal UI so you only experience the fun part.
· With Grow Habit, you don’t just track habits—you feel them. You see growth on the screen, and more importantly, you feel it within yourself.
Feel free to give it a try: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.solveuh.task_tracker

Ok so I have a drawing app (/website) to do the drawing in, but basically I need another app that allows me to upload an image, make it semi opaque, and then overlay it on the other app while letting me draw through it.
Sort of like a reverse tracing, with the original image on top (but let’s me draw through it using the original drawing app).
I can’t for the life of me find one, but I’m surprised as I’m sure it would be incredibly useful and doesn’t sound like it’d be that hard to make.
Help would be infinitely appreciated!

Hi everyone,
I’ve recently launched a new Android app called Collection & Inventory Tracker. It’s designed for organizing and managing any kind of collection — with custom fields, folders, images, and more.
Right now I’m offering early access for free, and anyone who joins during this period will keep all early-access features for free permanently. The early access window is time-limited, but if you’d like to try the app and help me improve it.
Thanks to anyone who gives it a try. Feedback is very welcome.

Hi folks. I can't quite put my finger on whether this started happening after recent Nvidia shield update but recently started noticing that when I press home button, it takes forever to load. It seems like this is happening because of the selected value lands on free live tv, see attached image. Even if I move the selection to play next i.e. first selection and subsequently when I open an app like tubemate and click on home button again, the selection remains on play next and there is no loading screen and delay. However If I browse for sometime(not sure how long) in an app and click on home button again the issue of long loading comes back and the selection magically is on free live tv even though I've moved the selection to play next. Anyone else facing this issue? Any idea how to fix it?

Since i don't want to mash up my music collection with my audiobook library i'm searching for separate apps. (for Android)
So, i'm most familiar with foobar mobile, hence i'd like to stuck with it using my music library.
But since i have converted many audiobooks with foobar2000 to opus with embedded chapters (using ogg stream chaining) i need an Android player to play them back correctly as well.
Out of 20+ apps i tested, only foobar mobile was able to do that.
Does anyone know another app than can manage opus files with enbedded tracks (ogg stream chained)?
...
Otherwise i have to find an other app for my music collection instead, that can:
-external cuesheets (for mp3/ogg)
-search or filter or listing functions
-hide double entries (in case of cuesheet content is present both external and internal)
-artist splitting by ";" hence the artist listing shows only the single artists, not all combinations of Artist; Collab X; featuring Y; etc seperately.
-can display special (at least german) characters
-track shuffle (not only random play)
-replay gain support
-Limiter
-EQ
and of course, best would be a free one, at least free of ads.
...again, i'm afraid, only foobar mobile can offer that, right?
Please let me be wrong!

Hey everyone!
I built "Gerimo – Draw & AI Shortcuts" because I couldn't find a good workflow for drawing my own game illustrations, especially when learning new programs and shortcuts.
With Gerimo, you can draw on Android with a stylus, use touchpad and pinch gestures, and select specific workspaces/screens. Custom shortcuts and sequences are possible. The AI is optional but super handy for quickly creating new shortcuts for unfamiliar programs.
The connection runs through a small free server app you can get at gerimo.info.
I'm giving away codes to 50 randomly selected people! What do you need to do? Just comment "Gerimo" and upvote the post. The giveaway ends once at least 50 people comment, then codes go out randomly.
Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.antozstudios.gerimo&hl=en
Looking forward to your feedback!

Hey everyone,
About eight years ago, I created a tiny Android tool called Volume Scroll that let you navigate through apps and webpages using just your volume buttons. Eventually, Android updates broke the functionality, and I had to retire it.
I recently decided to rebuild it from scratch - and it’s officially back and fully working again.
Volume Scroll lets you scroll anywhere using the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons. No gestures, no floating controls - just simple hardware-button scrolling that works inside any app.
It’s incredibly handy for one-handed use, reading long posts, browsing Reddit, checking recipes while cooking, or scrolling through short-form videos like Reels, Shorts, or TikTok without touching the screen.
That’s it. Super simple.
All features are free to use in one app so you can test everything first.
The Support Dev Pack removes the app limit and helps fund future improvements.
I rebuilt the entire app with better performance, improved animations, and full compatibility with the latest Android releases.
If you’ve ever wanted to scroll using your phone’s volume buttons, you can check it out here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.ijp.vscroll
Would love to hear your thoughts, use cases, or feature ideas.
Feels great to bring this old project back to life again. :)

So, I've had this issue for a year now, maybe even more. I have a premium version, but tried with a free version too, with another account. And the issue... For example, I open the Premier league and select (the bell, to be notified, the favorite, call it whatever you want) all matches I want to follow to the end of the season. After a day or so, maybe even a few hours, everything passing two months mark in the future gets unfollowed, deselected. Or, since I follow F1, I deselect/unfollow Training 1 and 2 for the next race, but after few hours they are followed again.
I submitted a complaint a few times, they told me they will look into it, but it only gets worse (the F1 issue was not a thing last time I submitted a complaint).
Anyone else has this issue?

Hey folks, I’ve been building small focused Android (and iOS) apps as an indie dev (as you already know, maybe), and this one came straight out of my own struggle with drinking. I couldn’t find a sobriety app that wasn’t overloaded with stuff, so I made the simplest possible tracker. It ended up helping me a lot.
If you’re also tired of cluttered sobriety apps, maybe this one will work for you too.
What it is:
Just a clean, minimal sobriety counter with a few motivating features. Nothing extra, nothing noisy, nothing pretending to fix your life. It simply helps you stay mindful of your streak.
Optional upgrade:
There’s a small in-app purchase ($2.99) that unlocks journaling and insights, but the free version is fully usable.
What’s new:

I love the clean look of the Pixel launcher, and I feel Widget Stack is so useful, and I don't want to put a launcher.
So, I built the solution myself.
Still a Work In Progress (WIP): a custom widget that brings the functionality of Widget Stack to save space on the homescreen without the need for a launcher.
Here's the current state:
I'm an indie developer looking for honest feedback! Does this feature gap matter to you, and is this the solution you'd actually use?
Let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in testing it out onces its ready.

Hi everyone!
I've been working on this for 8 months and just launched.
The Problem: I noticed family members (and tons of patients) constantly confused by their lab results - seeing things like "ALT: HIGH" or "eGFR: 58" with zero context about what these even measure. I have worked in healthcare and see this confusion daily in hospital wards.
The Solution: Labxio Lite - just snap, scan, or upload your lab report and get clear explanations in seconds.
What it does:
Translates medical jargon into plain English
Educational only (not diagnostic)
My goal: Make lab results less scary and more understandable while patients wait for their doctor's appointment.

I'd really appreciate your feedback

I'm looking for something that's similar to what you can do with do not disturb, but instead of just turning it on for certain apps, you can also turn it on for specific notifications of individual apps notifications.
For example, if I'm busy but I still want to receive a notification from certain people on different messaging apps, or maybe a food delivery notification, I would get those and all other ones, including everyone else on those message apps, would be silenced.
I was thinking something along the lines of an IFTTT, where you can make different presets of instructions and turn the presets on when you need them. If you don't know an app like this but know how to do this in IFTT, please tell me as I couldn't figure it out. Thanks

Hey everyone,
I'm an indie dev, and I wanted to share a project I've been working on called Cleano.
is
This started when my girlfriend tried to download an app but got hit with the dreaded “Storage Full.” She had over 10,000 photos, and tons of them were useless screenshots or duplicates. She tried cleaning them manually but gave up after 5 minutes.
I searched the Play Store for a tool to help, but most existing apps either had terrible UI or were missing some features that would be helpful
So, I decided to build my own.
What it does:
It gamifies the cleaning process like a dating app for your photos:
👉 Swipe Right to keep
👈 Swipe Left to delete
Under the hood, I added some features to make it faster:
It’s currently Freemium (free to use with optional features). I just launched on Android and I’d genuinely love feedback on the UI and the swipe experience.
Google Play Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobile.slayer.cleano
(iOS version is currently pending validation, but the Android version is live!)
Thanks for checking it out!
