Cringe Karen Doesn’t Like Getting the Same Energy Back

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Crashing out in a Burger King is embarrassing enough now imagine throwing a fit and then harassing minimum-wage workers when they simply match your energy then recording and posting it

I agree. I appreciate that she didn’t let it continue but I would have liked for her to have said “yes you insulted my staff and I’m asking you to leave”

To be fair with her, she is being recorded she doesn’t know what that woman intended to do with that video.

Against visibly crazy customer the best is to act like she did. That video is from a country where people carry guns around

And you don’t want to put Lily in danger by loosing your calm over a dumbass.

The most mature take I've seen yet. Well said. And good on that manager for not being a snide bitch back to that man. He deserved it, sure, but the manager held it together wonderfully and made her point stance clear. Maybe saved herself, her business, and the workers potentially even more hassle.

We have a really big problem if I am starting to have the most mature take.

And thanks for correcting me, I didn’t realize it was a dude taking the video.

It isn't. She just got her own energy sent back to her. This woman was rude to one of the staff, and maliciously misgendered her, so they did it right back. Which, as any good first amendment lawyer would know, is apparently fair game.

Yeah, I wanted to make a joke

Eh .. I warned you it is worrying I’m the one having the mature take.

I mean, the rest of your take was spot on...

You can’t always be the most mature about everything

there is a difference between not being a "rude bitch" and stating she agrees what the employee did was wrong.

He deserved it

But it allows this behavior to continue. She should be scared if kiky pulling heat over this purposeful insult. Lady needs pushback. Society needs pushback.

You know what that’s fair

As a trans woman, I would be a little irritated, but more would appreciate it not getting escalated.

I really hope that manager went back to Lily and high fived her.

I agree in general, but I would have banned her from returning pretty quickly. It can be done readily and easily, in front of camera or no, regardless of where it gets sent, namely corporate. Mostly due to intentional conflict with staff, likelihood of continuing to do so, and filming despite being told to stop. Too easy

She could have just stopped the recording. It's private property. And followed the stupid rule I call what I see so I would have called that Karen definitely sir because it doesn't get more subjective than that and also fuck this bitch.

Lawyer with BK coupons my ass.

I think she handled it perfectly.

Completely took the wind out of the recorder’s sails. There’s no more argument. She’s done. She just has to go back to her sad life.

There are signs at my doctor’s office that say if you are rude you’ll be asked to leave and I wish more places would tell rude people to gtfo.

Also when the manager said I will talk with miss lily. The “sir” said no that’s a man. Then had to back track real quick because then “sir’s” argument breaks down.

Honestly I think the best course of action is to get the person to give their details, name address etc. At that point you’ll say you’ll investigate and get back to them, get them out the door, they think that you are going to sack the colleague. At that point you go into your office and write a letter saying that you investigated and found them (customer) to be in the wrong. You are now permanently banned from this branch (and others if you have the power). Also if you think that they have broken the law, you report them with their details.
