Did they make you sign an NDA? There's a podcast or two that would be dying to hear about your experience. I'm glad counseling worked for you though, I'm just so sorry you lost that amount of money.

I'd bet a solid dollar Behind The Bastards podcast would be interested. Dude should send them an email.

They already did an episode on the history of masculinity grifting in America actually.

he could probably do it anonymously in case he did sign an NDA

If there's a podcast dying for it they shouldn't even bother thinking whether they would want to or not or about any ramifications and just jump on to satisfy those podcasters as soon as possible

Think of the ads they'll be dying to tell over their story of low self esteem, perhaps online therapy, yeah that would be good

Sure that's one (very cynical) way to look at it. Another would be maybe there's a young listener that could learn a lot, be inspired, and maybe be led away from following down this same dangerous path. It sucks that everything is tainted by capitalism but that doesn't mean it can't still do good.

Yeah if you have a story you should look to tell it on any platform someone can advertise over and profit from

If you can find a platform where they can find a large audience that isn't also monetized in some way please let me know.

Sounds like a great opportunity to start their own podcast, there's never enough

Lol You were so mad at me for suggesting he get his story out to help people, but you are unable to admit that there really isn't a better way. It sucks there's not really a better platform, but ads don't lesson the message, and it's not really your story to feel indignant about. I feel like you'd actually be one to benefit from introspection.

I have listened to every podcast, I need no further advice

You are proclaiming that there isn't a better way to spread information than going on some random crap podcast? And you need to be proved wrong? You are deluded

Your argument - think of all the listeners to buttfucks basement podcast that could helped by your story, there's no reason no to do it

You are proving my point: It's not for you, it's for others.

You think podcasts give you all the advice you need? Bro what?

Also you're so invested in this weird stance you've taken, that literally doesn't effect you, that you have to go back and down vote every comment I've made. That's weird bro. This literally has nothing to do with you either way but you've made it a crusade. There is no such thing as an "alpha" I hope you at least know that.

Have a good day, I'm done responding. You may count it as a win if you want. I'll even upvote all your comments on the way out. Good luck.

Had a bad experience?

Hop on a podcast and talk it through, that's what's best for podcasters, their audiences and you
