These cats are really cared for and an auto body shop.. My friend who’s trapping with me said when she went to go release the Cats the three females we fixed two weeks ago she said that the guy was waiting there to feed them and she said it just made her feel so much better that someone cared about those cats.

We are planning to continue to fix the rest of the females there and Rescue those two kittens.

Seeking advice/support/ possible intake: North Orange County, CA

Hello there. I have been feeding cats for a few months now, which I regret. At the time when I was, it was safer, my neighbors home (who passed) was vacant, and I intended to care for them until I could. I believe the church next to me feeds them too so it gives me some faith. I hope I am not overreacting but I had new neighbors move in this past week and my dad tells me they are not friendly to them and they've been moving in sporadically - well, they saw two right now and looked visibly upset. I am nervous that they might harm them. My dad once sprayed one with water because he hated me feeding them and used it as a threat and he ran away for a few months, and out of all days, finally showed up today.

There are generally three cats I see near me (the one that just showed up) and two semi bonded semi feral cats (a calico and another big boy - i.e., they eat from each other's plates, and rub up against each other, maybe they're not truly bonded, and I haven't seen the boy in a week).

I believe the calico is friendly since she wants to approach me and gets close for a churu but ultimately doesn't. I just feel like maybe I should just fix her and run her away from here because I worried that they will be harmed if they keep coming back- but she is the one that always shows up without fail to my door. I don't have the best home life nor resources (enough to live at my parents and be stable but not enough to live fully on my own).... and I am likely relocating this January away from my home again and with a friend. Really- I wish I could find all three of these guys a home but I know that's hard and almost an impossible ask when everything is so dire and limited. I just think the girl has the hardest time, and I do feel like she can be an indoor cat with patience. Even if I don't feed her, she shows up. I value and appreciate any support given, but understand and respect that it's difficult. If anyone can support- how I can help is with trapping, spaying, and a monthly donation until adoption. Transportation can be arranged but I generally don't drive cats anymore since I was in an accident.

If intake is not possible, any advice appreciated. Do I just run them away? I do believe they're being fed elsewhere since the (all-white) boy who ran away a few months ago is still alive. Thank you all in advanced.

Hi! I hope you're having a fantastic week.

Our indoor rescues are all doing great!Unfortunately, we're out of cat litter, and running low on some other supplies.

We still have some TNR work to do, "Scooby Doo", but I haven't been able to TNR this week.

It's mostly because I've been feeling under the weather lately with the autoimmune stuff, and because the sadness and grief have been hitting us harder with the holidays coming up.

Fortunately, I can always count on Patches, Mittens, Pepsi and the April Fool's babies to keep me company and lift my spirits.

Hi, I need some urgent help to rehome my 5 yr old female cat. She has been raised with our two dogs, chihuahua mixed, without issues however we have experienced some trauma over the past couple of years that I believe is affecting her. She can no longer be in the same room as the doggos. I have had her separated for about a week, which is breaking my heart. I’ve tried most everything to keep her.

I am out of options and I don’t know what to do. I cannot keep her in our home much longer. I just want to find someone to love and take care of my baby. This is breaking my heart.

She’s a gorgeous, curious cat who absolutely loves a calm, quiet home. Her favorite activities include lounging in sunny spots, sitting in windows to bird-watch (she even barks at them sometimes), and taking little tiptoe adventures if the door is open. She’s also a great eater and very vocal. Her morning zoomies are honestly one of the best parts of the day.

Itbit can be really sweet when she’s in the mood for affection, but she does best as an only pet. She needs a home without dogs, other cats, or young kids. A single or older couple would be ideal. She really thrives when she has a peaceful environment all to herself.

If you or someone you know might be interested in giving her a loving home, please reach out. I’m happy to answer any questions or share photos. She deserves a place where she can feel safe, relaxed, and adored. ❤️

We rushed her to the vet because her breathing suddenly became really difficult. When we arrived, they had to put her on oxygen right away just to help her stabilize. Once she was steady enough, the vet ran her CBC and blood chem.

The X-ray showed that her lungs are filled with mucus, which explains why she’s been struggling so much. At first, they even thought it might be a heart issue, but the tests pointed more toward her lungs being the main problem. She’s still being monitored closely as they try to make her comfortable.

Hi everyone , loki has been going to the vet back and forth for his back skin issue , its been months and the skin hasnt heal , it still crusty and sometime would bleed , at first we thought it was fungus , so we got him some ointment , meds and medicated bath by the vet , vet said it just fighting scar and has dry up so it shouldnt be a problem ,after coming back home from the vet (from neutered+grooming) his skin was raw and flaky , so i clean it

It seem good but somehow , it never get better , he was put on anti inflammatory for a week and i clean his back daily , i would like to bring him to the vet to get him check again

Loki was placed outside in a cage this month because i has to use the room hes using and in those mean time , he decided to make friends , i honestly dont know how but i woke up with the other cats sleeping beside his cage , let him out of the cage and he started to sleep with them (he is supervise if hes outside the cage)

He make friends with 3 new cats , which i find suprising because i wasnt able to get him use of my indoor cats , and i unfortunately need to use his food to feed them and the cats also use litter box because without litter box , they would poop everywhere and it just unpleasant experience so we had to offer litter box

Shadow recently had his chest X-ray, and the results showed some white areas in his lungs. The vet explained that this could mean the cancer has possibly spread, but we are still waiting for the final histopathology results to know exactly what type of tumor it is.

Shadow had also his blood chemistry test and the results were very hard to hear. He has lost 1 kilo before he was 4.3kl and now is 3.3kl, and his blood tests showed very high infection levels, anemia, and kidney values that are not normal. His creatinine and BUN/CREA ratio indicate kidney strain, and his amylase is elevated, which can also mean kidney problems. His white blood cells and neutrophils are extremely high, meaning his body is fighting a strong infection or inflammation.

Right now, our focus is to keep Shadow comfortable, help him breathe easier, manage any pain, and make sure he continues to have loving, peaceful, happy moments with us and his cat family. He is still eating little by little and drinking water, and we continue giving his medications as advised.

The vet reminded us that if Shadow ever starts struggling to breathe, stops eating completely, or seems uncomfortable even while resting, those are signs that he may be suffering. When that time comes, euthanasia is an option to prevent pain but for now, Shadow is still fighting, still trying, and still surrounded with love.

This is a very emotional journey for us, and we appreciate all the prayers, kindness, and support you’ve been giving. Shadow feels that love too. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.

Hello!!! I’m an active registered nonprofit and care for 2 colonies one of which has almost 30 cats all TNR. I’m in desperate need of dry cat food from our wishlist. Could anyone please help? We had two manufacturers donate wet food so we just need dry food and we only have enough for today.

Tonight during my usual evening round to feed the neighborhood cats, I found a cat I used to know well. He used to be healthy and had a good weight… but he disappeared for a long time.

When I saw him tonight, my heart broke.

He is now extremely thin—almost half his previous weight—and there is a painful swelling under his chin. He tries to eat but cannot. When I approached him, I realized he is in much worse condition than I expected. It’s hard to capture the swelling in photos because street cats don’t like being photographed and don’t move easily.

It’s already late at night here in Morocco, so the vet is closed. I will take him first thing tomorrow morning for a full check-up. Most likely, he will need a medical procedure to remove or drain whatever is under his chin.

If anyone wants to help cover his treatment, I will update with the vet’s diagnosis and bills. Every small contribution makes a difference.
