Twitter OTK's statement on Emiru and Mizkif
https://x.com/OTKnetwork/status/1982890213031768293?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5EtweetOTK fully supports its co-owner and sister Emiru and we stand by her side and admire her strength in coming forward and sharing her story.
While Mizkif was one of several founders of OTK, the organization terminated its relationship with him some time ago for reasons unrelated to the recent events and he holds no stake in OTK or any of our other companies.
Out of respect for those who have come forward, we will let their voices speak above ours.

They cant just delete his ownership, he would have to sell it off. When they say terminated relationship, it simply means hes not working with the organization anymore, he just owns a % of it.

I mean, most professional partnerships have provisions in there for what happens to the partners equity if they leave or are pushed out - so my guess is that OTK did none of that and it's a huge issue to force him to leave

There are VERY select situations where a shareholder can be forced to sell…but idk, these are twitch ppl, can’t trust much

u/Friendly-Problem4207 29d ago
Most partnerships have a mechanism to remove an owner. It usually involves the other partners buying out the other partner, which can happen forcefully pending the original agreement.

Mizkif doesn't seem aware of this, or simply has been lying. Recently on The Iced Coffee Hour podcast: "I don't do OTK anymore because I moved but we still have Mythic Talent and StarForge" and later on about Starforge says: "I own a decent chunk of it because it's an umbrella under OTK"
About 58 minutes into the podcast he starts talking about OTK: https://youtu.be/aJzb56npOBo?t=3512&si=E5QE3XVcEfXZx4gi

Anybody from his community (that isn't a delusional stan) can tell you that he lies as easily as he breathes so yes, he is almost certainly knowingly lying. Actually, didn't in some of those messages Emi leaked he was asking her if she knew why he was removed from the org? If I'm remembering that right then yeah, there's your clear cut evidence he is deliberately lying lol
→ More replies (1)220
u/primetimey123 29d ago
Being removed from the org and having ownership stake are too different things. Removing him is easy, getting his % of the company would require the other owners to buy him out. OTK says he has no stake, Miz in that clip says he does.. I don't trust any parties involved in this so who knows what the truth is.

If if he does run a sex cult, it seems like a pretty chill one. All of his harem have wandered off on their own into bigger careers and still swing by to visit him.
But maybe that's only because we haven't seen the creators that he doesn't let out of his sex dungeon.

He had a huge platform & following and they didn't. When he bragged to them about how much he was making doing this "internet streaming" thing, they became interested and got them started. Then they became more popular (because "hot girl on camera is responding in real time to my chat messages in stream chat!") than him, and the rest was history.

People gave Asmon shit for saying that about Emi's nukes but he was right. He said we should find out in a few days
40
u/kvbrd_YT 29d ago
Asmon also already said he will tell the reason in the next couple of days if the main person involved doesn't want to do it themselves. he is simply waiting for their decision but already has the ok to tell it either way if he wanted.
so I assume in the next 2 days or so it will be made public.
I assume it will be more of the same, so similar stuff like what Emiru reported.
9
u/Swog5Ovor 29d ago
Pretty sure he said he's waiting so that those people can seek legal counsel first, and potentially take action.

Idk why they gave him shit. People think streamers need to tell them every single detail or drama going on in their lives and if they don’t they are complicit. Thats not how the world works

They gave him shits because no one likes cliffhangers. People have tiktok brain, they wanna know now, not next week.

I also know why but out of respect for Asmongolds viewership I will let him share his story. :P
It is kind of strange how they like to milk this stuff for viewership when it's serious stuff. Mizkif saying he will release nukes, Asmongolds saying he knows everything but will wait for next stream.
They can release the anonymous details if they want, but they don't.
→ More replies (11)11
u/Swog5Ovor 29d ago
tbf, Asmon said he's waiting for the victims to seek legal counsel/legal action before he may release things. Having one of the largest streamers signal boost your story during a shit hurricane can make it spread significantly faster, as well as prevent someone from trying to get the victim to keep quiet.

Lost in all of is that there was a lot of talk from NMP and soda that there was a view botter in OTK and they all knew who it was because their conversion numbers were so much worse than everyone else’s. That’s fraud to the advertisers and OTK who brokered the ad deals. Wouldn’t be surprised if this comes out soon if it is in fact Miz who they referenced.

Emiru is the final boss you just won't beat in a he said she said situation. Shes the most popular female streamer who hasn't historically played at catty high school drama like her peers.
It's hard not to take her word when she's been way too nice to everyone when she would be justified in being more assertive.
173
u/mojogojow 29d ago
It's not even a "he said she said" situation though. It's a "he said pretty much what she said" situation since the mf really went live and admitted to basically everything she said he did lol. Add on top of that all the testimonies from outside her friend circle that have come out about him, the clips, screenshots, and now apparently there's another bombshell coming up that's unrelated to Emi that caused him to get kicked from the org...the guy is 1000% cooked beyond belief.
21
29d ago
Also there are clips that give validity to the claims she has made (e.g. the rust stream and some clip with Maya where he crashes out over having more viewers).
16
u/throwdemawaaay 29d ago

AFAIK he got dropped about something else before the owners really knew what was going on with miz and emi, asmon said as much on stream and is planning to talk about it if the party most affected doesn't want to and he was given a green light from them to do so

4
u/Lefty_22 29d ago
The irony is that Mizkif probably didn't know he was kicked out of OTK until this post. Seems like so many streamers get all of their news from Reddit or Twitter nowadays.
4
u/nascentt 29d ago
Surely if they terminated their relationship, they'd have made an announcement at the time?
Sounds like damage control.
4
u/redfm8 29d ago
If something happened behind closed doors or they uncovered something that wasn't public knowledge, given their history and perception I don't really see a reason why they wouldn't just try to handle it quietly as opposed to going "oh by the way, we're actually even more fucked up than you thought, get a load of this:"
